Best Mexican we have had in Washington State. The tortilla soup is a particular favorite with its home recipe/home made stock, fresh avocado pieces, tortilla strips and quality chicken. All ingredients are clearly fresh and the local produce is excellent - of special note are the mushrooms, onions and green peppers in the vegetable chilaquiles. The salsa verde enchiladas are also excellent (very mild but this allows the flavors to be distinct/enjoyed separately). The nachos are a fine appetizer and include some of the nicest guacamole we have seen in Washington. We added photos of the enchilada verde and chilaquiles - also the parking which is behind the restaurant as well as along the street. The owners and family work and are all very nice. The salsa verde is fantastic - we wish they sold it.

Best Mexican restaurant we have yet to find in skagit valley area. Crystal, our server, and family were so hospitable it felt like we were invited over for family dinner. The food was equal to the service. The flaming fajitas were fun and so so delicious. I though I didn't like tamales until I tried theirs, total comfort food. And my personal favorite the Carne asada and chili releno plate! I can't wait to go back just so we can try more food! Thank you for having us and for being a part of the community!!!

We are really happy we stopped here (Mom and daughter trip!)! The atmosphere here is easy going and the staff were so helpful! They are pet friendly, with a front and back patio, covered! Our waitress even offered our dog a bowl of water that she drank! We sat on the peaceful patio and this food is the best Mexican food we've had in a long time. It was fresh and servings generous plus all priced right! A great location too!

I can’t say anything bad about my meal it was perfect, but my wife said her meal was just okay! she had the sweet potato taquitos with vegetables but there was Very little vegetables, what they call vegetables is a few onions and bell peppers which is a far cry from what we call or imagine vegetables. They have outdoor seating which was going to be fine, but they put us out back behind the restaurant in the Gravel area picnic tables. They did have outdoor seating in the front with three or four tables is where we would’ve like to sit at the time and they had a table available, we did have our small Wiener dog with us and the day before we saw people sitting out front with their dogs. Out of sight out of mine is the way I seen the service sitting out side out back behind the restaurant, Took forever to get our order took forever to get our order took forever to get our bill did not appreciate any of that. They need to work on their outdoor atmosphere by adding music and a few more walks to block the wind and add some more sunscreen over the top and work on Servicing their outdoor seating customers better. I had the taco enchilada rice and beans and I have to say it was really good no complaints from me there. Would we give them a Second chance? I think I would knowing what to ask for next time, otherwise probably not. P.S. their prices was reasonable and fair and dog friendly. This place could be a great five star restaurant With just a few...

Santo Coyote has put a lot of thought and attention into detail in the restaurant atmosphere. I was pleased to find this place open as I was visiting La Connor on Christmas Eve. I ordered 2 , a la carte chicken, street tacos $11., to go. The waiter took my order and was polite. My to go order was handed to me in a take out bag that Felt like an empty sack . The Styrofoam container weighed more than what was inside it. About the tacos....... please see the photo for the portion size reference of the serving. The flavors were average, the tacos were cold, and the chicken was cold and dried out. Maybe it was the timing, Christmas Eve . The end of the restaurant day. I think dining in may be a better experience on a non holiday. I was hoping for an adult size taco for the price point . I was disappointed in the value , the portion size, and the temperature and texture of the food . I don't drink, but they have a cool bar and restaurant...

It took forever to get seated and forever to order and forever to get food. But I'm 100% certain is because they are understaffed due to the pandemic. Our hostess was also bussing and acting as a server. As far as I could tell, there were only four people working the floor. It's not their fault everything took forever.

That being said, the food was delicious. It was also served hot, which I wasn't expecting given how long everything was taking. The servers we did have were visibly stressed out but still managed to remain friendly and upbeat, which was also surprising.

The restaurant is also beautiful. I think once all this pandemic nonsense is over, I will try them again to see if having a full staff makes the experience better. I still recommend because I don't believe the issues are typical but the issues did cause them to...
