Below was my initial review. We had been back a few times for their fried pickles. We went there tonight and service was horrid. People were leaving their tables, coming to the bar to pay for their meal just so they could leave. I had to do the same. It took over 45 minutes just to get an appetizer to our table and the meal came out a short time later. Their pulled chicken special hardly contained any chicken and didn’t contain any cheese. Huge disappointment. Fried pickles were not the norm, breading nearly fried all the way off, floppy pickles. Just bad. I wouldn’t waste your time.

We decided to check this place and try their food. The service was great but the food was lacking. The fried pickles were good but the sauce was way too spicy. Onion rings had the same issue. The fish and chips were a bit greasy but otherwise good. I didn’t like the tartar sauce or the coleslaw. The sliders were “okay”. And the fish tacos would have been good if it weren’t for the super hot jalapeños. Over all, the food wasn’t bad so if you are just looking for something different to go to, give it a shot. Otherwise there are better...

Adventures to LaConnor just to eat here. Very friendly staff. I had a steak sandwich that was super tasty. Fish and chips was good. My friend had the sliders and she liked them. Our other friend had the Elk burger that he was a bit disappointed in. He had been there previously, and said it tasted better the first time. The Thai salad with shrimp was pretty good. (Pictured) We got the Brussel sprouts appetizer. (Not pictured)It was a bit underwhelming. It was supposed to have some sort of glaze or sauce but I found it lacking. A bit disappointing. They tasted like Brussel sprouts, but nothing special about them. We did have adult beverages that were tasty but I forget the names. I will probably be back. They are pretty new so working out kinks I'm sure. I'd like to explore the menu a bit more. You can sit outside in back. It was too hot and most of it was directly in the sun. The shade tables were taken. There looked to be some games out there. Maybe corn hole...

The Firehall Kitchen & Taphouse had a delightful dining outdoor atmosphere. We joined another couple, our friends. The establishment was a nicer venue to meet up. Plenty of outdoor seating with colorful umbrellas to brighten it up. Many families there with their children. They have an outdoor corn hole and are pet friendly. Well-behaved dogs are adorable in the outfit seating area.

Our menu items were perfectly prepared. Our friends had an Elk Burger and Cowboy Burger. My husband had, the Cowboy Burger, as well. I had the Flat Iron Steak and Frites. The streak was tenderly delicious! Seasoned with just the right amount of seasonings. *Note: they do have gluten free buns.

The beer menu was diverse as any you would find in a taphouse. They also have cocktails if one wants to go that direction.

The ambiance inside is clean and charming. Though, I'm glad it didn't have that warehouse look like so many places are trending now.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you're...
