Toppers Pizza — Restaurant in La Crosse

If you arnt gonna teach the managers to honor the coupons correctly don’t give them out. I had a coupon that said buy any medium or large pizza get a medium 2 topping free up to $18. So I ordered a medium cheese pizza and for the free 2 topping medium pizza I ordered a 2 topping vegan pizza. When I was checking out the manager said the medium plain cheese pizza had to be the free one because it was less expensive. That is not what the coupon said. It said I get a free medium 2 topping pizza up to $18 off if I purchase any medium or large pizza. They didn’t not honor that and she made up her own rules based on what other coupons usually say. It did not say anywhere on that coupon that the medium 2 topping pizza had to be of equal or lesser value then the first pizza bought. If i would of just ordered a large cheese pizza instead then they would of gave me the medium 2 topping vegan pizza free. I ended up paying over $8 more then I was anticipating and it’s just really frustrating. I would of never ordered if I knew they were not going to honor the coupon correctly and make up a rule right in the spot. I’m not going to go here again after that. Before the coupon it was over $30 for 2 medium pizzas. When I called to place the order I had to talk to someone at the front desk at Toppers because I had a coupon and she was completely fine when I told her what the coupon said and that I wanted a medium cheese pizza and for the free one a 2 topping vegan pizza and she said nothing about it and totally fine with me doing that. Unfortunately my friends didn’t really care for the cheese pizza and the cauliflower crust on the vegan pizza tasted old or freezer burnt maybe. Iv gotten it multiple times before and it never tasted this way. This situation has just left a bitter taste in my mouth and we don’t plan on going back. Im reminded why I should just cook at home as many times going out to eat has caused more problems then it’s worth weather it’s long wait times, charged incorrectly, given the wrong food or cold food, employees be rude for no reason. People often ask me whether God is real, and you know what I say? "Yes, he is. He works at Toppers and his name is Cody." I got the opportunity to speak with Cody and he is a fascinating employee to be around. Some of Cody's interests include, skiing, hiking, mountain climbing, professional kickboxing, playing Super Smash Bros professionally, shark-back riding, playing football, and pounding brewskis with not only the bros, but the babes as well. My memories of Cody's warmth as a person, and his fondness as an employee, inspire me to get up each day and change the world. At Toppers, Cody is an exceptional employee who demonstrates a special skillfulness and meticulousness towards the art of pizza making. Cody is what many, including myself, would call a "God" in regard to the art. It is without question that a newfound a appreciation for Toppers will emerge after consuming a Toppers' pizza made with Cody's warmth and tenderness. For it is this precise reason that the now famous phrase, "a Toppers pizza made from Cody's hands is assuredly a pizza like no other" was first thought of.

I ordered on the app. which works great but I wasn't paying attention and sent it to Onalaska and not La Crosse. I walked in and Eric was working the checkout. He informed me it wasn't there and I figured out what I had done. No fault of Toppers at all. I walked back in and Eric was extremely understanding got the loyalty points I had back and reordered it while they appeared to be very busy. He told me 7 mins and it would be ready. He was very accurate to that as they texted me and said it was good at the time given. I walked in and Eric was standing at the checkout ready to go and even gave me a brownie dessert for my kids because of MY screw up. I own 4 companies and I have to say that his managers and franchise owners should be proud of his professionalism. I was impressed by him and his whole team.
