Sugar Mamas Cakes and Bakery — Restaurant in La Habra

Ordered a Baby Shower cake, 2 tier, chocolate mousse. It was the most dry cake and mousse was chocolate frosting. It crumbled when sliced and majority of it left. VERY VERY VERY disappointed. Complaints from guests, over 100. Called owner, said sorry, but no real compassion. Tasted WAY different from samples.. I asked if they can compensate to granddaughter for this, says once cake leaves store, can't do anything. I guess you need to cut a piece before you leave store..NEVER AGAIN..Stater Brothers cakes are better..BEWARE..just not experienced enough for big orders or left over from day before. Or they pick and choose who they want to impress..guess $$$ talks,!!! For $350.00 NOT EORTH...

This bakery is truly a gem. I ordered both my wedding cake and birthday cake from them and received rave reviews from everyone who had a slice for WEEKS! Yanette is an amazing artist; I gave her general colors and themes and left the design to here, and each cake turned out beautiful. Not only are they literal works of art, they're also INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. My only disappointment is that I never have left overs because every last slice gets gobbled up!

This is my second review. This time I ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate moose and strawberries, and all I can say is it was delicious! Very moist and beautiful. Everybody loved it!
