Came here for a quick lunch close to where I was working. I was pleased to learn that they served lunch before 11am and had a drive thru where I could grab and go.
Menu is extensive, I had to look it over for a bit before deciding. I knew I wanted to try the rolled tacos, so I went with the #13 which had it served with rice and beans and guac and cheese on top. I don't always like guac so I asked for mine on the side. I also added a side of sour cream. Got back to work and opened my container to see a ton of guac on top :( The amount of guac on there is wild - so guac lovers, trust me you want this. Me, not so much... I scraped it off and just ate the food. Rolled tacos weren't filled to the ends, but flavor was good. Loved the beans! They also offered sides of salsa, I got both as I didn't know what I like and I really liked the red (spciy) salsa. Highly recommend.
Service was basic for a drive thru, except we did have a language barrier. I do think this contributed to the guac error. Pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food and the area.
I would probably come back here again, but wouldn't try to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLast night my husband and I went to eat a the La Habra Molcasalsa. We have been to this place numerous times and are generally satisfied with the food and service. Well last night I was completely disappointed. We ordered the #31 special and a chorizo and egg plate. The special comes with a drink. I asked for two waters to have with our meals. One for each of us. The cashier (a female) stated we would have to pay $1.00 fro the water. I asked why would we have to pay, we have two plates and we are two people water should be provided upon request. We are paying customers. She said no you have to pay. You have a drink with your meal so I don't have to give you free water. It's a $1.00. I asked to speak to the manager and she said he's not here. Then my husband began to record her responses. I then asked her who the manager was and she said Juan. I said what the last name and she laughed and said I don't know. I would like to know who the manager is and know if this is a common practice of your establishment to charge paying...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy go to Mexican for good quality drive through food. ( They have a walk up window too). I love their cabeza street tacos, double layer small corn tortillas ( they oil the tortillas when they heat up so if you don't like that make sure you say no oil) tons of meat ( you can split 1 into 2 tacos) , onions, cilantro and green chile is my go to meal. I also order menudo on weekends and it's delicious ( I am picky , decided to take a chance one day) . Machaca breakfast burritos are next level too. Horchata is also delicious. Huge menu with just about everything you can think of ( tacos, burritos, Chile rellenos, enchiladas, tortas, taquitos) , the intercom probably needs to be replaced, I usually have to repeat my order a few times and speak very loudly, they take cards but charge a convenience fee). It's usually pretty busy and because they make the food fresh the wait can be lengthy if they are busy. Love this place! Honestly everything is really good . I think I spent about $15 for my 5 street tacos and...
