O.M.G I would literally give this place 10 stars if I could!!! I have travelled all over the world and had the finest cuisine. London is known for their good Indian food. One of my favorite dishes in the world is “lamb tikka masala”. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find good fresh authentic lamb tikka masala? Oh they all have the chicken.... but I must tell you I was absolutely thrilled to find this dish again!!! After years of searching and I came across this little place. So I wasn’t expecting it to be this wonderful but the smell, the flavor, the polite service. There was a lot of business so I thought this place must be really good. I also liked that they cook the food right in front of you so you know it’s clean. I’m super picky about cleanliness so it was instantly something I appreciated. The owners and people working there were so very nice and customized our order. I got the medium spice. Some people like their eyeballs to burn- I do not. Lol I want the flavor without the pain. My friend and I sat down outside in the beautiful sunshine and I was thrilled to taste the freshness of the lamb and high quality ingredients of the sauce. I told the gentleman with the purple turban.... it’s so good I feel like I’m in your house eating a home made meal! Lol my friend had the chicken coconut curry which she was also very pleased with. The Dr Pepper was very refreshing you know how sometimes the drinks aren’t fizzy or whatever. If you’re tired of fast food or don’t want to cook. Try this place! Also the portions are HUGE!!! You can easily eat one bowl over 3 or 4 days. You get the rice on the side and pour the sauce over the rice is the best way. Then order extra rice and take it home for the next few days!!! Delicious...... so good I could cry, but hey me and lamb masala go way back. Please try this little gem. It’s...

My beloved husband Mr. Prince and I were racking our brains, trying to figure out where to go and have a unique and different foods that we are not familiar with. I googled and so many different restaurants popped up. We both agreed and settled for the India Restaurant, located in La Habra which is approximately 26 miles from Long Beach where we reside. The beautiful and memorable experience started as soon as we arrived and walked into the restaurant. We were greeted as if we have been lunching and dinning there for a very long time. As if we were regular customers. That was very impressive. The same gentleman made certain to escort us to where we were comfortably seated for a little over one hour. We didn't want to leave because the ambience was very soothing. Now let's talk about the palatable and delicious foods and drinks. Mr. Prince and I decided to target the buffet which had varieties of good looking and great tasting Indian foods. We downed a total of four big glasses of Unique Mango juice. Honestly, I don't recall eating so much food since I relapsed on my diet September 2019. That's how wonderful our experiences were. As a matter of fact, I made arrangement with the manager of the restaurant to cater my up coming celebration on February 29th, 2020. My favorite dish is the chicken because it's the most delicious smoked chicken I've ever eaten. If I wasn't going to start my diet program on January 1st, 2020, I would have gone back soonest. INDIA RESTAURANT is indeed An Authentic Indian Cuisine. I advice everyone to visit this amazing restaurant, to experience a no match Customer Service and very tasty gourmet dishes. Thanks...

Well, few word's can capture the splendor that is India Restaurant La Habra, otherwise known as the home of the handsomest man in the world!! And I mean, he's something else, a true savant like his chefs, a sagacious fella without equal, with a demeanor so charming and peace inducing that after every conversation you feel as though you've entered the pearly gates of Shangri-la or for that matter a new eden. The food is second to none, and that's not something I just throw around, I mean it, it's incredible, amd so special to me and certainly to others that I had a nightmare that when I woke up the next morning India Restaurant La Habra would be gone, and gone with that would be the finest dishes and people I've ever met, I wondered if it was all a dream, curry so delectable it was as though angels crafted it, people so wonderful you wondered whether you died and went to heaven. But I thank my lucky stars that I woke up to find her still there standing tall and strong. I love the Goat Korma, I love the Tandoori chicken, the Samosas and the Garlic Naan, I know no person who hasn't found themselves enraptured in joy by the cuisine, it's glorious, as my grandfather describes it heaven on earth, and I hope to share this place with as many people as possible for there is no other place on this side of the Mississippi and for that matter on the other side that deserves business more than this place. God bless all of you, you will not be disappointed, you'll walk away a brand new man or woman, with a pep in your stride, happy as can be with a new love in your heart that shall never ever part....

Open kitchen, open hearts! I have been searching for an experience in dining that felt close to home for me growing up in Hawaii and having a great love for Indian culture and food. Tonight I was not served— I was beyond welcomed. I felt embraced almost as if I were a long lost friend dropping in unannounced! At 8:30 p.m. even! This is a family run business where they treat you like family. This is what made the food equally amazing. I started off with veggie samosas that had the most distinctive umami flavoring that it almost satisfied me to the point of feeling full (must pair with the red, sweet chili sauce). I asked for a sweet Lassi with rose water and got a thick, creamy, sweet enough shake with a whisper of fragrance that hit the spot! I took Simran’s suggestion to try their tandoori chicken and it was slide-off-the-bone tender and moist! Flavored perfectly and accented with a squeeze of a grilled lemon wedge (nice touch!). He thought the chicken seemed kind of lonely without rice, so I ordered a side of rice pulau. What fluffy happiness that turned out to be with the magic of saffron! I figured I wasn’t going to go home triumphant until I completed the whole banquet with garlic naan! As a solo diner the portions were perfect to have my fill tonight and then leftovers for the next couple of meals. Thank you for helping me celebrate my new job and new life!!!

It is Thanksgiving day. We had hours and hours of flights back home that left us able to cook and unwilling to hang out at a friends for Thanksgiving. So my husband goes out to try to grab some Chinese food, and sees this Indian restaurant is open. He shoots me the website. I see clearly marked vegan food and think I’ve died and gone to heaven. Little did I know that heaven truly awaited. It’s really close to the house, and my husband showed up with food that was piping hot and bursting with flavor. I tried: their samosas - top-notch fluffy potatoes jacketed in the delightful dough; their garlic naan -absolutely worth crossing town to get; their veggie pakoras - crunchy goodness; saucy aloo gobi, and gobi Manchurian were tongue teasingly tasty. The rice is perfectly cooked, individual grains that are soft and don’t stick together. Now these were absolutely delicious, as I may have expressed above. But, the icing on the cake is that these folks were all extremely kind, and my husband walked away from that restaurant feeling like I was gonna be very well cared for. Best part? There’s leftovers due to the generous portions! I will be back and I’ll be dragging anyone who likes or is curious about Indian cuisine. I apologize for the photos definitely not doing the food justice - I was too busy eating to style them.

After a long and exhausting day at Knott's Berry Farm, we stumbled upon India Restaurant in La Habra, hidden in a strip mall. What a delightful surprise! From the moment we stepped in, the service and food were nothing short of excellent. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Gobi Manchurian, Pakoras, Malai Kofta, Paneer Tikka Masala, Laccha Paratha, Garlic Naan, Plain Naan, and rice. Every dish was flavorful, and the quality was outstanding. The curries were perfectly spiced to our request, creamy, and delicious. The Naans were baked to perfection—soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. The Gobi Manchurian, though a bit small in portion size for the price, was tasty and well-prepared. What stood out even more than the food was the service. The Punjabi lady who took our order was warm, kind, and attentive. The Punjabi chef also made an effort to check in with us, ensuring everything was to our satisfaction. It's rare to see such personal attention to detail, and it truly enhanced our experience. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food, and the overall experience was fantastic. India Restaurant La Habra is a great spot for anyone in the LA area craving delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. We hope they continue to maintain this level of excellence. Highly recommend!
