Ostioneria Colima — Restaurant in La Habra

When they first opened I got a great Campenchana fresh with great oysters but somewhere down the road the quality went downhill! I went yesterday and had to ask for my money back the abolone tasted dry like it came from a can and my oysters we're invisible in size? This place use to be my go to for Campenchanas However, Not anymore! I won't be back. I told the manager about my food and she had a very lackadaisical attitude I had to ask! for my money back and I also purchased a Jamaica beverage that was warm and tasted like a machine. She didn't give me my money back on the drink but she did eventually give me my money for my awful food. I left my beverage and Campenchana outside where I was sitting all half consumed . I asked for chips and the guy brought me a basket of stale broken chips they didn't even bother to check and ask me if everything was ok. I was so disappointed so when I went inside to the register no one was there i waited there for a few minutes and no one came so finally I had to go the other side of the restaurant where I found the manager chatting with her friend! I will not be back nor will anyone of my family or friends. Sorry everyone but there are other seafood cocktail restaurants with better service and better...

Was an unfortunate 1st experience for dinner Thursday night after 8pm and will never return again. I left with a $30 stomach ache. Dinner for two it was 70 with tip. Guacamole and chips didn't have good flavor, my mojo de ajo shrimp was overcooked also didn't have a good flavor (more like moppy taste), the calamari is pretty much what I ate because that tasted decent. I wasn't rude so don't know why it tasted moppy if you know what I mean. There were two servers, one younger who seemed inexperienced and another more experienced hostess. We were asked if it was good, my dad replied with, it's okay. Then hostess replied with "it's good, good" hah not what we said especially when my plate looked untouched. Wish I had eaten at in n out instead or olvera restaurant a lil West from where we were. Take your chance with overpriced mediocre food. I came to this restaurant because I car was at a repair shop nearby, the food looked good in the pictures so I decided to try it out. Upon walking in there was no one assisting with seating (there was a sign that read to wait to be seated). I waited a few minutes before someone noticed me and asked me to sit wherever I wished. As I sat down the waitress came over and aksed me what I wanted to drink, I ordered and looked at the menu , after a few minutes I decided what I wanted and then waited and waited for the waitress to come back, the restaurant was basically empty with the exception of a family that had walked in after me.
