Parky's Saloon — Restaurant in La Mesa

I've been going to parties for over 7/8 years at the least. This one. Chick behind the bar...... Well, let's say 8 went into the bathroom and she wat WAITING, LAYING BACK BY THE POOL TABLE.... FIRST TIME I EVER HAD THIS EXPERIENCE OF THIS BAR. THIS WAS MY GO-TO / COMFORT ZONE. WHEN THIS CHICK WAS HERE, IT WAS AN ENTIRE DIFFERENT STORY. Shoot, I apologize for having everything capitalized.. anyways, this is the first time I was kicked out of a bar. I guess it was due to the fact that I asked for a pickleback and she told me I older 7 bucks for the shot and she said pickleback. I understand I listen to how she acted. However, she has the worst attitude in the bar, .. I do not understand, to the fullest as to why she is still able to work there. She is the worst bartender I have ever ran into.

Wowza, I didn't even want to keep her own name in my head. This is an OG / amazing spot yet, this ruined it for me and everyone...

Stiff drinks, beer on tap, jello shots, even fixed pizza if you get hungry late in the night. One pool table, golden tee golf game, and a single pin ball make up the games. There is a high tech internet connected juke box on the wall with every song you could ever want to play. The bartenders tend to be beautiful sexy woman and are very attentive when they are not out front having a smoke. The regulars/locals tend to be friendly and fun. The pool play is of high caliber, and they have a couple of interesting twists in the rules, but it's mostly the standard call shot 8-ball and no ball in hand. They don't like to use the board to write your name on and sometimes it's hard to figure out if it's your turn to play, but somehow they know, you just have to figure...

If I could give this place a zero I would. I came here after a few years of not coming. I came On a Saturday night Sunday morning. I witness an old couple get kicked out aggressively by the bar tender. All because they asked about some drink. Nothing personal nothing offensive. I can attest to that. A few minutes later bartender told me to chug my drink, to which I said okay, give me one minute. Bartender woman looking man walked up to me and was about to push me outside, randomly and pissed. I told him (or her) to not touch me or I was gonna defend myself and respond accordingly. Bartender slammed the door and I called an uber. Called it a night.

Don’t come here. Find another spot with better bartenders better beer and better respect...
