UPDATE: The main store manager (short, overweight light-skinned latina lady wearing a lot of makeup in her early 40s that drives a black honda sedan) is RACIST and DISCRIMINATORY.
I ride an blue and black scooter that folds up and I obviously bring it inside, always put it under my foot, out of anyone’s way, and sit and eat my food while on my phone/tablet.
Today, 09/20/2024, the store manager sent one of her goons to tell me that the store manager wants me to leave my blue and black scooter outside the store while I eat, since she apparently doesn’t want anyone using the wall outlet (I have never charged my scooter inside by the way). I didn’t argue, as I was just finishing eating anyways and was about to leave. My guess is she sees that I have a ruso-armenian pride flag on my scooter, and takes offence to it, even though we should all be free to express ourselves, as long as no one is getting hurt, right?
After the employee tells me this, she goes back to the store manager who’s at the cashier station, and the store manager starts saying racist and discriminatory language in Spanish specifically talking about me, even though they don’t know that I actually am fluent in Spanish as I lived in Madrid for 4 years.
On top of that, there’s been more than 10 separate incidents recently this summer where a bunch of high schoolers from La Mirada High come into the Taco Bell together (usually 4 of them) and they come inside the store with 2-3 huge electric bikes and 1-2 electric scooters, and they’re usually loud and rowdy and play pranks on each other while inside.
Yet from the moment they come into the restaurant with their big electric bikes and sometimes loud and rowdy and pretend wrestle each other (they’re teenagers), to the moment they all leave, with the STORE MANAGER BEING PRESENT AND WITNESSING EVERYTHING MULTIPLE TIMES, she nor any of her employees NEVER end up telling them to leave their multiple huge electric bikes outside the store while they eat, nor did she ever tell any of those teenagers to lower their voices or not wrestle inside in the restaurant, NOT EVEN ONCE DID SHE MIND OR SAY ANYTHING TO THOSE TEENAGERS, and surprise surprise, those teens were all white except for one light-skinned latino.
To top her racist and discriminatory attitude towards ruso-armenians — a few weeks ago, 10 minutes after I had entered the restaurant and was sitting down waiting for my mobile order. This teenage white couple ask for a free water cup and fill it up with soda and sit inside for an hour, and the racist and discriminatory store manager NEVER SAYS NOR SEND AN EMPLOYEE TO SAY ANYTHING TO THEM!!!
I will be reporting this store manager’s unprofessionalism and discrimination to Taco Bell Corporate.
Absolutely unacceptable!!! They locked the doors of the dining room 10 minutes earlier than the closing time of 10pm! I wasn’t even there to dine in, just for a take out order of one chalupa supreme I placed online on doordash. Yet, multiple employees laughed at me. The rudest one that laughed the most was a young, mid 2late 20/30 latina woman with black hair tied up in 2 buns. Thankfully, the next day, I walked in with my two friends, and two employees; one skinny gentleman with glasses and another filipino gentleman apologised and gave me my doordash order complimentary. I would like a discount or free coupon on my next order. I am an active member of the Taco Bell rewards app and almost always...
Read moreWe literally paid for extra cheese and extra protein in multiple items and we also paid extra to swap some items to chicken. Let’s just say we wasted our money because none of the requests were actually honored and it was quite possibly our worst Taco Bell experience ever. We would appreciate getting our money back because that was ridiculous. It’s not the first time this happens at this location either. As someone who is a frequent Taco Bell customer, the usual standard we are accustomed to for our usual food. That’s how we noticed the difference not being better but actually worse…the worst part is, we were the only car that was there for the order. It was dead there, We assumed extra detail would be given. Given all this, a refund on the order Is what I’m...
Read moreI ordered a number 1 in the drive thru and Jesslyn couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to my order. I repeated it to her at her behest 3 times still didn’t get it right and then directed me to the window. When I reached the window I asked her to repeat the order, it was wrong. In lieu of remaking the order they up charged me, broke my taco shells and threw tomatoes on there I specifically asked to leave off 4 times. My wife and I were polite the entire time. I’d rather leave a bad review then argue with a person who clearly takes no pride in their work. General Managers should work evenings every once in a while to catch the total lack of customer service that goes on at night. And to the rude cashier, you being miserable to people is a choice....
