I must say that our recent experience at Ledo's Pizza in LaPlata, MD was nothing short of a disappointment. My wife and I had been looking forward to a nice night no cooking, and we made the unfortunate decision to order from Ledo's. First and foremost, the prices were exorbitant for the quality of food we received. We shelled out a whopping $47.00 for two calzones and a large Hawaiian pizza, and it felt like daylight robbery. The calzone, in particular, left much to be desired. The bread was dry and tasted like it had been sitting around for ages, and the sauce was utterly plain and uninspiring. As for the pizza, it was a disgrace to the very concept of pizza. The crust was paper-thin, like a sad excuse for a flour tortilla, and there was hardly any cheese to speak of. To make matters worse, when we ordered a Hawaiian pizza, we expected pineapple on every slice, as that's a fundamental part of a Hawaiian pizza. However, it seems Ledo's missed the memo because about one-third of the pizza slices had no pineapple whatsoever. Being ripped off once is unfortunate, but being taken advantage of twice is something we will not allow. Our hard-earned money should be spent on enjoyable dining experiences, and Ledo's Pizza in LaPlata, MD, certainly did not deliver on that front. We won't be returning to this establishment, and we strongly advise others to steer clear unless they want to waste their money on subpar food.

I just want to start off by saying this location is normally great. However, this evening I experienced something so traumatic. While eating my pizza I bit down on what seems to be hard plastic. It cut the upper part of my gum. I am now experiencing pain to my gums. I did call the store and returned at which point the manager was kind and gave me a refund. Nevertheless, something else needs to be done. This is also for those who have children please be vigilant when your kids are eating. It’s obvious that the cooks don’t pay attention!!

Great food, phenomenal service (today we were served by Allie 😀)! My favorite thing to get at any Ledo’s is the Meatlovers calzone, and here it was especially good. However, I ate it before I remembered to take a picture, so here is a picture of the Hot Honey Wings. Not only were they perfectly crispy and tender, but the somewhat spicy “hot honey” glaze also doubled as a delicious dipping sauce for the calzone.
