We used to love ordering from here. We live far out and nothing else will deliver really. We started trying their coffees when we found GrubHub and ordered basically every day. At first, everything was always right and was amazing! Unfortunately it seems as though they became lazy and started messing up our orders almost every time. We ordered coffees both of which were the wrong size and flavor, the soup we ordered was not the correct soup (which I couldn't eat as the grease would make me throw up being 8 months pregnant), we ordered a box of coffee which is literally all we received, no cups, no sugar, nothing, and last night we ordered the 1lb bag of coffee beans which they gave us the 4 dollar bag. These examples were all seperate orders. This morning we tried to order and were informed that they would no longer send delivery orders for us. When I called to speak to the owner she was extremely hostile and angry. She would not apologize for the mess ups of her employees. Apparently it is our fault that our orders were not filled correctly and the fact that the owner, instead of fixing the problem, training employees correctly, and making sure orders are made right, chose to fault the customer who literally ordered from them basically every day. Not only was she extremely rude to me, but she was horribly rude to the delivery driver as well, for what reason, I don't know. And this was before I called to speak to her. It's disgusting that the owner couldn't take responsibility for the actions of her employees, but rather complain about money she lost. How about the hundreds of dollars we've spent ordering from you because we loved your coffee? Yes we got refunded for the mess ups, but that is not our fault. As a business owner if you make a mistake, own up to it. Confront your employees for not doing their job. Not banning a loyal customer because your employees constantly mess up our orders. It's very concerning how angry the owner got when confronted. I have all of my phone calls recorded and I have proof of the absolute immaturity and irresponsible behavior of the owner. I will also be contacting the BBB as this is ridiculous behavior. I will NEVER be ordering again or shopping in store after this insane outburst...
Read moreWould recommend to a friend. Actual rating would be 4.5 stars so I rounded up. I don't normally write reviews for places so I apologize if the formatting is weird or the wording is strange/repetitive.
First of all, the boba tea was really great. I got Chai Tea with Strawberry Popping boba and both the boba and tea tasted amazing. Atmosphere was a bit off-putting at first but it's nice vibes overall. The paintings on the left wall add to the vibe as well. I'm not sure about the other food items, but they definitely looked appetizing!
There only appeared to be one person working the shop at the desk, but it was also about 1 hour-ish/30 min before it closed so I'm unsure if that's typical or not. Service didn't take a long time.
They don't serve typical bubble tea for sure. As other reviews mention, they do some sort of blending thing for the tea, probably with ice. I also noticed it sort of seemed to separate if I let it sit...? It tasted fine even with the odd look, though. They also don't seem have regular tapioca pearls from what I could gather from the website and in-cafe list.
Speaking of the website, it's either out of date or poorly formatted for mobile. I couldn't find a menu aside from pictures on the "Menu" tab, which kind of led to me standing there in the Cafe, awkwardly looking at the screen and menu on the wall before the woman at the desk noted that they had the boba flavors at the desk. Furthermore, I couldn't find much about the boba on the website, but it was clear they had it based on pictures and other Google reviews. These two reason are why if Google let me, I would have rated it 4.5 stars.
This isn't meant to be a negative review, though. I would absolutely stop...
