The new (at the time of this writing) pretzel stick with cheese is fire. So much so that I went back and ordered it two days in a row. The cheese sauce is pretty cheap and lackluster, but you have to have cheese with a hot pretzel. That's why, on the second day, when I got to my hotel and noticed they didn't give me cheese sauce, I got back out and went to get my cheese sauce (which is "free" with the pretzel).
When I got there, I was informed that they didn't have any. The guy (not who took my order initially, but who brought me my food on roller skates! Cool.) informed me they ran out the night before but he'd check to see if they had gotten more.
While I was waiting another vehicle pulled up and a dude got out and stood by the door. When the skater returned, the new customer asked about his missing cheese sauce too. So it wasn't a one off accident, but a missing cheese cover-up.
The skater apologized and said they were indeed out. I told him, "Dude, I wouldn't have ordered a pretzel if I knew there was no cheese!"
He said he could get me some Baja cheese. I said, "Nah," then, "wait! Is it liquid?". He said yeah, and instead of correcting him that it's probably not really cheese then, I just said, "I'll try it." What a fortunate mistake. That baja cheese (slightly spicy, of course) is the cats grass!
Long story short: order the new pretzel, but sub a cup of Baja cheese with it.
The Sonic itself is as good as any other Sonic, and fast enough, but they lose two stars because I had to drive back during rush hour (almost fruitlessly) and for the cheese sauce cover up.

This location was amazing and always made our drinks up until tonight. We always order the exact same thing Everytime we go. Tonight my husband was handed drinks that were not even close to what we ordered. He asked for them to be remade with the ingredients we paid extra for(again we always order this with no issues) and the car hop refused. Claiming that the cream would "go bad". We order a slush with cream. We always do. All of a sudden they didn't even try to let us know that they decided to not make them and we paid extra for it, but the carhop also lied stating they can't even make slushies right now when he literally just handed my husband two. We now have two drinks neither of us want and they refuse to help us in anyway.
UPDATE THE SONIC OWNER HAS INCLUDED A PHONE NUMBER THAT IS INVALID. THIS IS THE 3RD TIME IVE BEEN SINCE I HAVE MADE THIS POST AND YET AGAIN, OUR DRINKS ARE NOT WHAT WE HAVE PAID FOR. Service is slow, slow, slow! There may not be many cars in drive-thru line or stalls, but they are always slow. Never go to this location if you dont have to. These kids seem clueless and need training on how to do their job. The food is typically okay. They can never seem to get it all correct. The girl in the drive-thru was eating out of a cup and twirling while people are waiting in the drive thru for over 20 minutes. Their soda machine was not working, so instead of canceling or refunding the part of the order they could not fulfill, they completed it. Then I had to call corporate on a 5 to 10 minute call in order to wait 7 to 10 days for a refund. They need better training. I've ordered online before and was refunded later on the item not fulfilled, never was told I couldn't get anything from my entire frickin order and told to call corporate. I'm livid....beyond livid.
