UPDATED REVIEW I gave this place another try since I heard good things about their salads. I had the rodeo salad which was way more filling than the sandwiches they have. The salad was very tasty and full of flavor and you have the option to add egg or remove extras. I also want to comment on the decor since I hadn’t before, it’s a smaller dine in seating but very cute nonetheless, almost like personal dining tables for the family. I haven’t checked out the restrooms yet so I don’t know if they are roomy and kept clean. I do like that you can see some part of the kitchen which is always a good sign. Bumped up my review from 2 stars to 3. ————————- FIRST REVIEW Kind of like a Jason's deli, but around same price for smaller proportions. There's really nothing special here... the sandwich was mediocre and I asked for the most popular one there (Good Ol' Boy) but I was not impressed.. the salads looked good though. The sides were extremely small (pasta side) I paid $25 for two people, with that price I would have gone to Chipotle for a more filling meal.

I ordered through Door Dash. Please view the two photos. The sandwich is pictured on the menu on a croissant. It came in plain, sliced, wheat bread. I called the restaurant and was told the colonel sandwich comes on wheat bread in the "lunchbox" meal due to the croissant being too small to cut in half and she asked me “why would you want it in a small croissant”? I told her that was not specified on the menu and I cannot eat wheat bread. She said, “next time write in notes that you want a croissant”. I told her they should let customers know when ordering to specify bread type and that it doesn’t help with the current situation. She asked if I wanted to speak to her manager and I said ok assuming she didn't know how to handle the issue. She then hung up on me. I called back and she then took my name and number and said the manager "just started her break". I have not received a call back at this time.

My first visit here. Food was good, though high priced in my opinion. Service not great. We placed an order at 10:30, when they open. We were short handed doing month end close, and pressed for time. A coworker ran to pick up our order for 5 people. She was handed one bag, once she returned to work we realized we were missing 2 orders. She called and was told they "started to" go after her to give her the other part of our order. She asked if it could be delivered but they refused because they were short handed. So although we had ordered to save time because we were shorthanded, I had to make the 45 minute round trip to pick up our order they "started to" fulfill correctly. They did give me 2 cookies to make up for my lost 45 minutes of time, (that's about $10 per cookie, yay! Thanks!) Not impressed. Below is my chicken salad salad that cost $9 and two trips.

I have experienced extremely rude customer service. I believe it's a racial situation. I'm Hispanic and I could be wrong but I don't believe so.On several occasions I was not greeted upon entering, however other white Caucasian customers entered and were greeted immediately. I only go there to pick orders cause I work for a third party delivery company. I will never give them my business. Every time I enter I always feel a coldness towards me especially from the manager or supervisor (not sure). It's a shame cause the food looks good but because of the way I have been treated I'll never be a customer. After receiving the response from the Lunchbox owner basically going around what I stated. First of all they had no way of knowing I was third part delivery company. They didn't know if I was there to order for myself or. Secondly, it shouldn't matter whether I'm there to order for myself or just pick up an order, all customers should be equally greeted as they enter. Furthermore, I'm fully aware of where I need to go to get my order for delivery. Still doesn't excuse the rudeness I have encountered at your restaurant. The fact that you would respond in such a manner is absolutely ridiculous in regards to there being any...

I have to start with this, the food was really good. However, I am very disappointed with Gringos that they would continue to allow the poor customer service at Lunch Box. The cashier made it a terrible first experience. Did not greet as we walked up and she couldn't care less that we were there. We explained that it was our first time and did not make an effort to explain anything to us. We asked questions and she would answer us like if we were stupid for asking. She would insinuate with her hands like asking "what do you want". My wife and I looked at each other and could not believe the disrespect but the number one rule is to never piss off the people making your food. Which takes me back to being upset with Gringos. We looked up the reviews and the list goes On and On about the poor service and we were shocked that even after Lunch Box apologizing to the person leaving a review, the poor culture continued. And just like all the other reviews, I will get a "Thank You for the feedback and we will work on it". This is a big L to the Gringos name. In whichever way they...
