Starbucks — Restaurant in La Porte

Last time I visited, a blonde thin partner who was not wearing her name tag, but had a red dress pin on her hat was texting while on the floor even though it was very busy. She was not welcoming. I had waited to be rung up for 2 milk boxes. She did not greet me . With a brash attitude she said is someone helping you? She made me feel like an inconvenience. I asked to speak to a supervisor so I could get her name. Her name I was told was gabby. She rang in my milk boxes and said okay that will be up for you on the bar, even though I did not order a drink. No smile. Didnt ask if I wanted a receipt. She was so complacent and unprofessional. Also many of the employees are consistently out of uniform when Mary is not there. Tight fitting leggings and the wrong color schemes. There is a woman who wears a local 1367 hoodie every weekend bright royal blue with a yellow gear on it. Starbucks is all for supporting its community but not representing other organizations and unions. I hope corporate sees this and does a necessary sweep of misrepresentation. Even though it's nice to have a Starbucks in this town it's awful to see such unmotivated and unkind people working there. I thought Starbucks was supposed to be set apart from po-dunk coffee shops with people who dont have any concern for others and no wherewithall to differentiate between milk boxes and awaiting a drink from the...

very great place, however, one of the employees was mean to my mom once. also, I would like to make a suggestion to the powers that be. the Sourdough Grilled Cheese Sandwich is one of the best menu items you guys have. the flavor is immaculate, it melts across my tongue so deliciously, and the smell of that grilled cheese is so fragrant, the drive home after purchasing one is agonizing, because i, the humble driver, must leave my precious sandwich in the passenger seat while I drive. I can't begin to describe the lengths to which I would go to acquire a Sourdough Grilled Cheese Sandwich from Starbucks. I don't like coffee. I frequent these establishments for a grilled cheese. It's a gourmet for my mouth. however, I have only had the pleasure of tasting this divine dish two or three times. most of the time when I come to Starbucks, the grilled cheese is sold out. so i ask you this, my friend, have you perhaps considered monitoring your inventory? it is my personal opinion as a sales associate that where there is demand, there should be supply, yes? the amount of times in which I've been told that that grilled cheese is sold out has lead me to believe that it is a very popular menu item. that being said, I implore you, dear Manager of the LaPorte, IN Starbucks, to consider ordering more Sourdough Grilled Cheese Sandwich when you place your order for inventory. This is a great Starbucks! The staff is always pleasant and helpful when I have a question on what drink to try. I know this store was hard to get started but all the staff pulled together to make it a smooth transition. I have never had any issues here or at any starbucks’ and hate when some people moan & groan and treat others badly... the shift supervisor is always working hard and keeping the store in order. I was there the day there was one really nasty customer who has left a bad review here recently.... she was not very nice to the shift manager at all and seems she leaves crappy reviews at a lot of other establishments ...ie chronic complainer some ppl are never happy and enjoy belittling customer care workers!!! All the staff here is professional and will always make sure your happy with your order. Every one is entitled to there opinions so try this Starbucks for yourself and don’t let one bad apple in the bunch who writes a lot of negative reviews sway you from trying and frequenting this nice Starbucks!!! I love the staff and love this location and they are always smiling and always get my order and all my coworkers orders right!!! Keep up the good work you guys rock!
