Taco Bell — Restaurant in La Porte

Updated This location has redeemed itself in my eyes. After this experience we actually had one more bad experience and called, again told to come in for a replacement meal. I've been extremely hesitant on coming back and possibly being disappointed again. We decided to try this past Friday. The drive-thru employee was very receptive and replaced our meal with no charge and was very pleasant about the situation. The substitutions we requested were addressed and food was hot. Thank you for making it right and hopefully that continues!

Absolutely horrible. Multiple bad experiences, but this did it. I recently visited here to pick up lunch for the first responders on shift in my town. So much went wrong. Several meals offer additional tacos on the side. I was missing multiple of those tacos with the meals. We asked specifically for items to be left off, such as lettuce. Lettuce was left on. I couldn't even go inside to have it fixed immediately, the lobby was closed, drive thru was extremely long. A receipt was not given on a 46.00 purchase. This type of service is not new at this location or the one in Michigan city. Very common. To make it worse I reached out through Taco Bell website to complain and have yet to hear back....

I can stress enough about how much I absolutely HATE this specific taco bell location in particular. These people are literally thieves. You have no idea how many times my fiance has came back home without checking the order (it's sad that we even feel obligated to check orders, we shouldn't have to feel that way but this taco bell is that bad.) to find out about half the order isn't even there. You're lucky if only one thing is missing. I also get so INFURIATED by their lack of social skills and how ignorant the staff can be. I don't like jalapeno/ chipotle sauce on my quesaritos and they can never seem to understand that. I've only been lucky enough to have them listen to that specific order once. Every other taco bell I've been to can grant that wish. This location sucks. 0/10 recommend to be completely honest. I hope to one day see this location improve but they've failed time and time again so I don't think things are likely to change. Oh, last thing, they like to skimp on the cheese sauce for your nachos or fries in the tiny cup when they actually do remember to put it...

NO BAG for two Chalupa boxes. Having to Squeeze the two Chalupa boxes coming out the drive throw window. In the wind hope they didn't come apart. Knowing the boxes are not that strong. As I get them in the vehicle I hear thanks and the door shuts. We had to sit there and wait for the guy to come back to the window that didn't take the order or ask me if we needed any Sauce. He says there in the box and the window shut again. I have came across open packs before like everyone has I didn't like that he put them in each of the boxes. 1. I didn't like the packets thrown in with my food 2. I like to see how many sauce packs they gave me 3. not having to ask if I got any sauce packs because I don't see them in the bag I didn't get. Frustrated because he shut the window again before I was done. We pulled off and didnt get any napkins or any thrown in eather box. You no not needing them. Next time we'll go in side with all the mud on us...
