The Park on Main — Restaurant in La Porte

Only giving 2 stars due to the multiple things the Facebook page posted on 4/2/23 3lbs crawfish for $18 we arrive it’s only wed thru Friday special but the fb post didn’t state that. Another thing is my daughter is autistic and only eats certain foods so we usually bring her with her McDonald’s so she can eat with us. We’ve done this before with no issues nor have not seen a sign about no outside food but today after we sat down we saw the bartender write on a small white board no outside foods or drinks and hung up outside the entrance. We spend a lot money here and to put that sign up after seeing us come in and sit down is sad over a $5 happy meal. Last thing is we got there little before 5 then we’re told they are closing at 6 transparency on operations hours would be helpful before going and feeling rushed. The most upsetting thing is the bartender putting that sign up before approaching us so we can tell her why we brought in outside food. It’ll be hard to come back...

Overall best place in town to hang out with friends, family and your dog. The bartenders are very nice and have wonderful customer service. The atmosphere and vibes are always great. 8ight Spoonz never disappoints with there selection of Korean corn dogs, snow cones, Gelato cups, Elote cups, mangonadas and so much more. Well... we tried to go here for lunch on Saturday @1pm but every truck appeared to be closed. The bar was the only one open. Maybe you were supposed to knock on the trucks window.. I wasn't about to try that so we left. It was such a beautiful day to sit outside and eat too. They should consider opening longer or posting hours at the front or if they were open don't shut the windows. One...
