First time visiting this place. We were seated right away, and our server was quick. He made sure he was thorough with us about what we ordered. Food came out in a timely matter. The food seemed fresh and was at a good temperature. My husband and I ordered from the 3 course menu, which is $31. It isn't a kid friendly page. There isn't a kids' menu or high chairs/ booster seats. Seems more of a place for like couples or business meetings, maybe? There's a large bar area. For my 3 course meal, I had the spinach salad, then the Pan Seared Chicken served with barley risotto and chef veggies, and the cheesecake with caramel sauce. I ordered water. My husband had the House Salad, then Applewood Smoked Salmon served with mustard caper cream and crispy fried potato balls with some kind of spinach salad as well, and molten lava cake with raspberry sauce for dessert. He had Dr. Pepper. For our 3 year old, we ordered the pizza they offer but with only cheese and a Shirley Temple. The food was delicious; price-wise, it is on the higher side. We spent $111 after tip for just us 3. We went @ around 2pm and there were hardly any people, which was nice. The waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We will visit again sometime but in the evening(just us 2) to try other dishes and check out the live music they have.

We set out in search of something different and we sure found it. Starting with the salad it was fresh, clean, and excellent eats. Then we had our choice of main course also excellent. I had the pork tenderloin with orange marmalade and mashed potatoes.. now let me add these aren't the usual mashed potatoes. They were rolled up in a ball coated with bread crumbs mm good. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection, moist not dry in a light marmalade. Ok now on to the dessert, cheese cake with a caramel sauce. Everything that was brought to the table was both eye appealing and deliciously fresh. Great job from the waiters to the kitchen you can't go wrong with this place. They are located a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Moderately priced and again well worth it. We have one of the pickiest grandkids on the planet and even he enjoyed eating there accolades all around. Bravo! Oh and even the building is eye appealing!

We almost left and we are SOOO glad we stayed. At first the menu and the prices seemed a little disconnected from the atmosphere. But after talking eith our server we ended up splitting the 3 course meal. They make all their dressings in house and it showed. The Spanish salad with bacon dressing was well balanced and delicious. For our main we had the pan seared chicken risotto. The chicken was PERFECTLY cooked and very juicy. Risotto was on point. For desert we split the bread pudding which was a home made white rain swirl with a house made carmal sause. The service was on point and consistent with a 5 star fine dining experience. Our waitress was helpful with honest suggestions and very attentive even though she had other table and was training a new server we were always very attended to. We WILL be back

We were a party of 9, including 2 young boys and a toddler. My husband and I were celebrating our family being all together, as my daughter and her family were heading home the next day. This was a very last minute reservation, (our reservation at another restaurant was canceled due to water issues) and they were very welcoming. The dinner choices were unbelievably mouthwatering and made for difficulty in choosing. But once our choices were made, our lovely waitress took extremely good care of us. She was also very attentive to the other diners. No one in the restaurant felt ignored or had to wait because of our large group. The atmosphere is upscale, but not snobby. They have a wonderful wine and cocktail list. As I said before, the dinner menu was amazing. And when our food arrived at the table, we all ahhh-ed and wow-ed at each other's plates as well as our own. And with good reason!! Most of us ordered one of the 3-Course Specials (Salad, Entree and Dessert), the salads were great, the entrees were off-the-charts amazing!! I can't even describe the blissful explosion of savory flavors from every bite. We were each so thrilled with our choices that were shared bites all around the table. Every entree was exquisite! The owner came over to our table to make sure that we were happy with our meal and even brought a spoon to my daughter-in-law and suggested that she dig deep into the risotto to taste the wonderful flavors of the mushrooms. The desserts were also amazingly delicious! As we were leaving, the owner personally thanked each of us and said goodbye.

The prices are extremely reasonable. Especially the 3-Course Specials. And the portions were perfection.

I am so very proud of my 3 grandchildren and their behavior at dinner. We were there for over 2 hours. I just imagine how bad it could have been, with the lack of discipline in our society now. But my grandchildren were so well behaved that other guests were never disturbed. I will admit that we kept the 2 yr old entertained with Moana. The 11 and 9 yr old boys were perfect gentlemen.

As wonderful as my grandchildren were, I would NOT recommend this restaurant for children. Even as accommodating as the staff is, this is an upscale restaurant and the other diners have that expectation.

The live music was as wonderful as the meal. He is a very good looking "Silver Fox", with an impressive voice. He sings a variety of songs from different genres. And the volume is perfect!! We could enjoy the songs and still have a wonderful conversation.

We are planning another visit very soon and it will be adults only!

I would say this restaurant is the perfect hidden jewel! And worth...

Higher end place. Expect to pay around 20 + per plate.

Positives: I had the rib eye steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The asparagus was perfectly cooked, stocks to top. The rib eye was perfectly cooked with excellent flavor. The potatoes were creamy, but not pureed. All together a good meal prepared by a good chef. The bartender was Amanda, who was very attentive, and lively. The décor of the restaurant was decent. It was definitely not packed in, and they have neat artwork around the room. I eat alone and I wasn't board. The place has an excellent feel.

Negatives: The steak came with onion straws on it and a sauce that I had them put on the side. I'm glad I did because I tried the steak with the sauce and onion, and I wasn't a big fan. The steak was a little thin for my taste, and the meal was very expensive.

Conclusion: I would definitely eat there again, but the food price was so high, I would have to think about it. The beer was reasonably priced. I really liked the food, but for that price I would think they could do a little better. It is a New York style steak in Texas. You think Texas steak and you think... flavored with smoke (real smoke, not liquid) and thick. Real Thick! Bringing out the natural flavor of the steak. This is not the case. Not bad food. Like I said, very good! They actually use things like "Spices." And correctly! but that doesn't equal $$$$$$. Great place for an anniversary or to get apps and a beer, but if you go for dinner, expect to pay a...

I normally only write reviews if the place is really good or really bad, this place was mediocre at best. Now the place looked very nice as if it was a fine dining establishment and it was very clean. The service is fast and friendly and I was seated immediately. Anytime I go to a new place for work I always try to find the best place for a steak. This establishment was recommended by the hotel receptionist. I spent $51 for a sweet tea (that was nowhere near sweet) and a ribeye steak. I don't really do all the sides they had to offer with it and their mashed potatoes had other things mixed into them that I don't eat (I don't eat my foods food). The steak was mediocre but I will say decent but not for the price. 51.00 for just a 12 oz ribeye and a sweet tea really. I mean I get it, inflation is bad nowadays but I could have got me a larger decent steak and a cheap grill from the store for less. I digress, judging from the other reviews a lot of people seem to like this place and I'm sure a lot of their other food is good but I will not be returning to this place throughout my stay in Texas. It's definitely a very pricey place but then again with today's economy what do you expect, everything costs more so I'm not going to hold that against them. I'm not an a**hole just honest, I mean I still tip the waitress 20 bucks because she was very friendly and did her job very well, plus she just works there and I never understand why people that take it out on...
