$11.95 after tax ($15 out the door with tips) for basic Beef Tofu Soup, which comes with a bowl of rice and unlimited side dishes. Great for a warm satisfying meal after a hot spa next door. I was full. Even packed leftovers for the 1/3 portion I couldn't finish.
Everything else on the menu is kinda pricy though (expect to come out $25 to $50+/person). But I wouldn't mind giving it a try. If I am hungry enough for it.
The ladies that served me were very nice, friendly, and always smiled, unlike most mom & pop Korean restaurants I've been to. Just 2 of them hecticly working while serving a large party, and me who walked in an hour prior to closing. Seems like they were so busy they forgot to give me utensils even after making 2 trips to my table, so I got up and grabbed the utensils myself. I asked for hot water and got hot tea instead. Maybe due to not understanding English enough since I was sent another lady to place my order as the first one didn't understand my questions.
Nevertheless, they were nice. Food tastes great. Love all the side dishes, Especially love the zucchini side dish which they ran out when they came to offer a refill on them.
They close at 10 pm. Good to know if I need...
Read moreFirst I have say that i am half Korean, half Mexican. I have been here with my mother’s side if the family (the Korean side) and enjoyed their great food. But the last three times I tried eating here with my Mexican husband we have been turned down. First time there was a Korean family of 6 eating and the rest of the restaurant was empty, we were told it would take more than 1 and 1/2 hrs to cook whatever we order. So we opted to leave. We tried again a few months later and there must have been 10 people the most and the same older woman told us they were full and couldn’t serve us. Finally, just to verify my suspicions of discrimination, I told my husband to wait outside and I went in. I was seated and given a menu, she cane back and I ordered my drink and texted him to come in and sit. The same older woman came to the table and said they had a very big party and couldn’t serve us. It would take a very long time to...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for quite a while by myself, it it seems like the waitresses forget about their non-Korean customers. They seem to attend more of their Korean Customers by checking on them of everything is ok or if they need anything else, but they just didn’t or they never come up to me or acknowledge me if I need more water or anything. And this has happened every time I go there. I had to get up and pay for my bill rather than them handing it to me and I told the waitress that not one of them came back to my table to see if everything was fine with the food or if I needed anything else…. She just looked at me funny when I told her. Just remember if anybody from this restaurant reads this, you have other non Korean customers that go to your restaurant, not just Koreans….so it’ll be nice if you treat them the same. I was going to bring my family here for dinner, but I’ll go...
