I donāt normally do reviews, but Iām doing this review for the sake of potential customers looking to order from this place. I arrived at approximately 5pm 2/28/24 delivering for a customer. Iāve never ate here before Nor never plan to after this experience. Once I arrived, I headed to the front counter for pick up. A man showed on via Photos attached to this review was at the front, assuming it is the possible owner of the restaurant. I greeted him, regardless, The way he gave a very unpleasant reaction of me entering with utter disgust on his face. I explained Iām here to pick up for āXYZā. He just stared at me. I again repeated myself. He continued to stare at me. After seconds went by, he raises his voice and put his arms up and shouted speak up. Me being a customer In utterly shock quickly replied telling him the name of the deliver as well as he doesnāt have to speak to me like that. He continued to get upset said okay and pointed at the whiteboard behind him And aggressively mumbled. I got upset and said profanity and yelled what is he talking about? He replied, saying thereās a lot going on in the kitchen. Which to me it was quite quiet in there but regardless I explained, thereās no reason to react that way towards me. I know old people have a hard time hearing, but thereās ways to go about telling somebody to speak up in a kindly manner. There was an individual behind him packaging the food that I was picking up. She did not partake between his and Iās argument. He continued to aggressively mumble towards me telling me, I shouldāve spoke up. I continue to tell him to stop talking to me due to me already telling him the order I was there for and now Iām just waiting. He went around the front counter to get in my face and decided to sit on the seats in the front right side. I shortly noticed he had Apple bluetooth headphones on. While he sat down, he continued to tell me to shut up And how I needed to speak up. I explained maybe you shouldnāt have your headphones on and maybe you can hear better. Shortly after the employee packaging the food said it was ready I showed her I confirmed the pickup and thanked her. But as for the man before I left, I stopped and recorded him to give this review to show the type of people that you all are supporting. As shown in the video, he ran up on me and aggressively pushed me out Restaurant He tried to snatch my phone, and I swung on him I missed, but at that point, I was out the restaurant and I decided to leave because I had the customers food in my hand and was not willing to destroy it for a man thatās obviously not happy in life. Regardless of me recording, no human should put their hands on another human for that reason itās called assault. He let something so small get him aggravated and allowed his emotions to get the best of him. I canāt even imagine how he would treat his own employees even the individual that was there today. If any of you took the time to read this Suggest you find a different restaurant that has better customer service overall. Thereās better restaurants out there that have delicious food and welcoming people.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is great and we order from here frequently, but the young girl who answers the phone and runs the counter is very short and extremely impolite with customers. She hangs up on my husband constantly and acts like she can't be bothered to take your order and payment information correctly. Our friends who live close by almost always have the same problem when she takes their order.
As a local business owner, I understand that the restaurant can get very busy, but the attitude problem is a reoccuring issue that needs to be fixed. While we appreciate the fact that they deliver, I couldn't imagine letting someone work for us who has such little value for customer service or respect for their customers.
Thankfully, this lack of respect and customer service does not apply to all of their employees. The man who delivers our orders is always attentive, friendly, and on time. I wish she would take notes from him on how she should conduct herself over the phone and in person while at work.
Sadly, we won't be ordering from Shun Cheong anymore if the issue is not dealt with. I would rather pay a little more at a different restaurant than have to deal with this every time we try to order. I hope this issue will be resolved...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen going here since we moved to Tennessee 2 years ago. Up until recently the food was so fresh and very tasty and extra spice if you wanted it. It has obviously changed hands recently and the food quality has declined. The egg rolls have shrunk in size as well and have become tasteless. The older lady than ran the place always seemed so happy and eager to please. Much like the younger generation in general laziness and poor quality has set in and if they don't change something soon may jeopardize their business.
Bought food last night for guests spending $50 of our hard earned money and feel like it was an embarrassment.
The spicy food we ordered was bland and not with the freshness we've come to expect.
Looks like we will be looking for another Chinese food establishment. It's too bad too since it is right down the block from our house.
