I was at the Chili's Location in La Verne on Friday June 7, 2024.I just left this location at 5:57 PM. I was looking forward to a pleasant dinner with my family. The food was decent but our sever N was not. She took our drink and appetizer order for chips and salsa at the same time. We managed to get our drinks but not our chips and salsa. Our server stood at the back of the restaurant laughing with someone who appeared to be a manager on duty. We managed to get his attention and asked for our chips and salsa. He immediately went to the back and we got our chips and salsa. Our server came over to let us know she yelled at the people in the back for not getting our chips and salsa to us. We ordered our meal of 2 orders of chicken fajitas well done and lettuce and cheese on the side. I even asked and repeated our request. Our server repeated our order back and it was correct. When our food was brought out we were given the boat with cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. I refused the boats because we only wanted cheese and lettuce. I also asked for plates since I was splitting an order with another person. Our sever came back and in front of everyone in the restaurant raised her voice for all to hear that she didn't appreciate me being rude to her and her helpers. I didn't raise my voice at anytime nor was I disrespectful. I have every right to refuse something that is not correct. I refused the boats in a pleasant way asking for cheese and lettuce only. Our server proceeded to reach across the table to take the pay tablet and later said it wasn't working. It was working because I had logged in at one point. I feel she did not want me to leave a review. Our server, the manager on duty, and anyone else working ignored us during our entire meal. It wasn't until it was time to pay that our server got nice. I guess she expected a big tip for being rude and disrespectful to my family. She made sure we noticed her exceptional service to the other tables around her. I will not go back to this Chilis location in La Verne. The Montclair Chilis is much better and nicer. I will be letting corporate know of...

It was 5 of us and we ordered ribeye steak and they messed it up by bringing me sirloin steak instead of the what I ordered. I told our waiter right away but he said let me check something and he was gone for a while. By the time he came back and told me that he is looking for the manager and she was not available, pretty much everyone was done with their meal. After a while, manager shows up and tries to tell me that this looks like ribeye and instead of a real apology, she is trying to makeup excuses. Needless to say, I left the restaurant hungry and I only had some food from my wife's left overs. Unfortunately, story doesn't end here. We got home and some of us had to run to the bathroom due to a severe case of diarrhea. I know, it is too much information, but on top of everything else, we got sick from the food. I live really close to this location and I eat there often and I even used them for catering many times for parties at my home before. I have never had such a bad experience and encountered such careless, inconsiderate, and unprofessional behavior before in this Chili's location. I guess I have to find a different restaurant to give my business from now on.
Update on 1/25/2020 I just would like to let everyone know that the response they provide here is completely BS and they actually try to pretend they are doing something. In reality, they don't care and they do nothing about "making it right". I posted my complaint the very same day I had this unacceptable incident and they responded next day to my post with some instructions to file my complaint with their company website and they were supposed to get back to me in 24 hours. It has been over 2 weeks and no one has called, emailed, texted, or send me a smoke signal back. Their corporate response is completely fake and they actually do nothing to fix anything and they certainly don't ,as they say " make it right". As we waited people came in and got seated pretty quickly and we're thinking to ourselves, well why haven't we've been called? I ask and the man checking people in asked what he wanted us to do about it? DISRESPECTFUL! Someone came and sat us down after 3 groups after us got seated before for the fact that we weren't checked in. I asked to speak to the manager and the same man said āokayā with such sarcasm. Again DISRESPECTFUL. The manager kept passing by and I realized he probably didnāt let her know so I asked our server if she can get her. She finally comes and I realized why the man was disrespectful, because she was as well. Not once did she apologize. She said well the technology didnāt go through. Really the technology only didnāt go through with one person? Or did you just forget? Then she went on about how heās new and itās his second day. If he makes a mistake okay itās his first two days, but being so disrespectful and unprofessional like that? Is there no pre-training? Does chiliās just hire without asking questions about certain situations and how to handle them?
