The service from the young lady we received was great she was so nice and friendly I really appreciated her. Now on the other hand the food was HORRIBLE as well as the sweet tea which tasted like 1 bag of tea with a lot of water and a splash of sugar. The waitress went back tasted it for herself and remade new tea. On to the food, my husband ordered quesadillas, my daughter the Childrens pizza and myself pozole. The food took a while to come out so the waitress brought my husband his food so it wouldn't get cold and 7-8 mins later our food came out so I was sure that it would be fresh! Wrong it looked as if the pizzas are not only the cheapest you can get them at at HEB OR WALMART but it looks like they put it in the microwave because it just looked and tasted disgusting, the quesadillas had no kind of flavor and as for the pozole it had no hominy maybe 2 little bitty pieces and the meat, GROSS! It was covered in fat and it tasted as if it had been reheated for like the 4th or 5th time. The waitress was rally nice about me not liking the pozole the owner or whoever the man there was not so nice, I apologized as if I did something wrong he didn't even apologize he was the one mad because I had stated the pozole was nasty and tasted old. Needless to say I would not recommend this place and we will not be returning. I hope that young lady goes somewhere else she is appreciated at because he was extremely rude! Oh and the place was filthy there window seals were covered in cob webs, dust and dead bugs. I had already loss my appreciate when I saw that. I have been going here for almost a decade Because I love their tacos. Even after hearing about them changing the prices at the register to over charge you (which was confirmed to me by an employee that works there) I didn’t care cause I wanted the tacos. I even still went after some personal stuff that really should have kept me away. Today a waitress forgot to put my soda on the ticket and we didn’t even notice. I went up for a Togo cup and they actually charged me for it. Are you serious? But okay whatever she followed me to the table to get the money and give me the cup and noticed the soda. And she made my friend go up and swipe her card all over again because of the WAITRESSES mess up. And even argued with us about it. It’s only 2 dollars but that is not the point. The point is that we did not make the mistake. My friend shouldn’t have to swipe her card a second time because of their mistake. And the way the lady handled it was unprofessional because my friend who was paying handled it way better than I would’ve. The food ain’t what it used to be. I had to get up and ask for things. The food is decent. I little bland for Mexican food but the service… horrible. All 3 times we have come here, my husband has had to get up to get refills on our drinks or to ask for things we had previously ordered with our waiter. There is absolutely no hospitality in the male waiter. It feels like a business transaction NOTHING MORE. He’s in such a crazy hurry for absolutely no reason. Therefore he forgets EVERYTHING you tell him. He forgot to put in an order we placed to go. Definitely upsetting seeing how the plate was for my pregnant daughter. He forgot our refill on chips, never once asked if we needed drink refills. He will pick and choose who he services first. Definitely not a first come first serve basis. It’s as though he’s on something. The way he throws your plate down in the table is ridiculous. My husband and I just sat back and watched his interactions with every customer and he’s definitely not in the right line of work.We will never be coming back here.
