I was able to get my Crisp Meat Burrito and Soft Beef Taco fix at 9:30am. It's rare to find anyplace that serves anything but breakfast food before 10:30 am! I read online that the lunch menu was served even in the morning at Amigos, I didn't believe it, so I had to find out for myself, and it's true.
The food tastes just as good as when 14th St Amigos was our late night spot while at UNL in the early 90s.
I was pleased to see ranch and four different flavors of salsa on the salsa bar. Before the salsa bar returned following the pandemic, there was a charge for a small condiment cup of ranch. I do not know her name only that she is a woman of short stature and...

The southwest Mexican pizza was by far the worst. The meat was old and dry and had to pick it off, the tortilla was dark brown and rock hard and the refried beans were extremely dry and flaked off tortilla as we attempted to eat it. In the end, no one was happy so we threw the food away and went to Sonic....
