Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Lacey Township

Ashleigh O is the worst server at this restaurant. My family and I went out to eat tonight and had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. The only open section was the bar and the tables around the bar. Once we sat we ordered drinks and waited ten minutes for drinks. She came over and dropped them off and I asked for straws, another ten minutes past and she never brought straws. I had to ask the manager walking by for straws and he got them for us immediately. She took our food orders and hurried away, we had to wait a decent amount of time for that, we only ordered appetizers which aren’t suppose to take long. Not once did she check up on us. We had to ask the the manager for refills and more napkins. She did not pay attention to us AT ALL. We then had to wait thirty minutes for her to come over and ask if we were okay…. with our empty plates. It then took her twenty minutes to get our check and by the time we got to leave everyone in the restaurant was gone. We were there for a total of TWO hours. This also isn’t my first time having her as a sever. this is my third time and every-time she was horrible and not attentive to her...

Probably the last time we will eat here. Last night went in with my boyfriend,son, and my mother. When we were seated, it was absolutely freezing, we had to ask our waitress for menus and straws. We asked her why it was so cold in here and she said she would ask the manager to turn the heat up. My son was freezing we were all freezing, we had hats on. When the food finally arrived, the manager delivered it and we told her how cold it was and she said she’ll go turn the heat up. Our food got so cold so fast. We didn’t even finish our food because it was gross at how cold it was. I did bring my half home to re heat and eat in the warmth. When the bill came 91.00 for three meals and a kids corn dog. I asked the manager if she could do something about the bill because how freezing it was in there. She had the NASTIEST attitude and said well if we were cold we could have said something. I said to her we said something three times ! Then she said we should have asked to move, I said to her she should have given us the option to move ! Gross food horrible service...

Don’t plan on going to this Applebee’s if you are going with a party of six and three of you get there first and asked to be seated so you can start ordering appetizers and drinks from the bar because they won’t see you. This is their policy they say because they don’t wanna overwork their staff having to go back-and-forth to tables They don’t want their staff to build their bill and have multiple alcohol, beverages and appetizers. They don’t want to have their staffs tips, be increased by the amount of what you would have spent if you were allowed to sit at a table as opposed to sitting at the bar waiting for a table Plus be careful of what you order because you might just get whatever meal they decide to bring to you not exactly what you have ordered.
