Cedar Inn Tavern — Restaurant in Lacey

I have always loved going to this place however - my experience today was a little different. Usually I go with friends - we orders drinks and pay at the end as normal. Today was different. It was very u comfortable. Hilary (who I’ve never seen before) asked me how I’m going to pay before the drinks were served. That was very odd. On top of that - she asked me to pay before I got my drink? It was very off and I have never been treated like that before. I would hate to make this about my skin color, but given the circumstances and the unkindness Hilary showed me - this time...

Stopped in for a biz meeting and grabbed a burger and a beer. I got the Cedar Inn Burger with cheese and my biz partner ordered the bacon burger. The meat was an excellent grind and was actually quite impressive for bar food. It was cooled to perfection and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The fries were fine but I thought a tad bit too salty. Do not take this a negative, because I limit my salt intake.

Not many people there and still had to go to the bar to order, maybe if the bartender wasn't on her phone texting we would have had better service.. my son and I ordered the burger dip, only had enough aujus for half our dip..... my husband ordered the nachos and couldn't finish them they were so bad, like they microwaved them left them in the microwave for a while and the steam made them soggy and the cheese made them one solid melted mess .... very disappointed with the food, no more specials which were always the best thing...
