So happy to have a MOD pizza in Hawks Prarie area, beautiful and updated inside, staff friendly and professional working under the leadership of Amar, great professional store manager, a great roll model, and ambassador for the MOD Franchises. I have had the pleasure of knowing Amar for several years from the South Hill branch. I have no doubt under his leadership and guidance this location will flourish. I look forward to future visits and watching this location grow.

I would not go to this new location.. I’ve given them 3 tries and tonight was the end of the road! The toppings are not even covering the pizza at all. One slice had zero toppings which is completely unacceptable. Salad was just okay… whatever they have going on is the opposite of what should be! Train your staff how to add toppings evenly and not one little piece at a time to a damn pizza. Go to yelm highway it’s worth every penny!

I was really pleased with my experience. Food was great, it has the kind of pizza I like and you can customize your pizza with anything you want. We tried their Italian salad too and it was fantastic. I highly recommend their marionberry lemonade and get a side of ranch and of pesto both are great for dipping

I've gone to multiple other MOD locations in the past and generally have had good experiences at those locations. However my experience at this location today was very sub-par due to very slow service.

When I walked in, i saw there was one person pressing dough, one person on the ovens, one person making pizzas, and one person running around doing some clean up. There was another two that would occasionally bring something out from the back. While there were 6 folks ahead of me, and 4 of them were elderly folks who seemed to not 100% know what they wanted and needed some extra service, I didn't think it would take too long for the line to move and get my order placed.

However, the one guy taking the orders and making the pies for walk-in folks never got any help. Even after the line added an additional 16 people behind me, the one person making pies for walk-ins still did not get any help.

There was one extra employee who came over, but they didn't help the 20+ person line, they focused on online orders instead. Even after 20 minutes, when I finally got front of the line to place my order, I was told to wait as the one person who had been working on the walk-in orders started to make the online orders instead.

When this happened, I got frustrated and made a comment on how bad it feels to be told to wait after waiting that long, with a line as long as I had behind me, for them to work on online orders instead. I also commented on how it was a bad setup that he had been working solo when there were 4+ other folks now working in the background.

Amir (I hope I spelled that right) was super professional and chatted with me while soothing my frustrations. He was awesome and from what I was seeing, he was a very efficient and quick worker, but was just not getting enough help early enough when the rush started.

I say this as someone who worked in food service at multiple chains and restaurants for over 10 years: The setup and distribution of labor at this location was very poor and resulted in a poor experience due to excessive wait times. I also say this as someone who has been to MOD locations where they can move a 20+ person line in the 20 minutes it took for this line to move 6 orders. They do it by having multiple folks working on the make line instead of one.

I hope management fixes these issues because what I am seeing is not the fault of Amir, but how he was left out on an island with no help and no adaptation by the other workers...

Have gone to this Mod location 3 times on separate dates/times. Every time the service has been painfully slow. However, the employees are always polite and the food (pizza mainly) has come out the way I’d expect from Mod Pizza. The glaring issue is the lack of management and training given to the employees. I’m sure manning has a part in all of this, but the priority level given to online orders over present customers must be reworked. Trash bins overflow with flies around the trash, containers that hold tea have been empty on 2 occasions (lunch and dinner hours), several items in the food line have been empty, and there are consistently 2-3 employees accomplishing online orders leaving 2 employees in the line to help customers in the restaurant. The salads containing the spring mix that we ordered tonight tasted spoiled, but the pizza was good. We asked for several salad items that were visually empty and luckily they had these items stored away elsewhere. The issues I’ve read and have currently are on the managers to fix. Guide...

Most MODS are over the top with their friendliness when you walk in, that didn't happen here. I think I may have heard one person say a quiet hi to us- we were the only people in line. Stood there for several minutes without being acknowledged. As soon as I told my kid we would be walking out if no one acknowledged us and at least said they'd help us asap, someone finally said they'd be right with us. The person who walked in after us was also shocked at how long any acknowledgement took them. After finally ordering, I saw the gals in the kitchen touching their faces and hair- that's just nasty. I mention these because I want improvement and I'd like them to be successful. You cannot be doing that in a restaurant! The pizzas were still good, although a bit overdone. Hope they can get it together because my family loves MOD and this location is so much...
