Sakura Restaurant — Restaurant in Lady Lake

I came to this restaurant with my family and my almost two year old son. The atmosphere was very pretty and everything that was ordered visually looked fantastic... However the food tasted bad. I ordered teriyaki chicken which I think is generally pretty hard to mess up. It was bland and dry and flavourless. I could get past that however but I cannot get past the horrible servers. Our server was actually quite wonderful and her name was lilian and she was sweet and very attentive... It was all of the other servers that were awful. I don't know why we needed 3 or 4 servers to serve our table when our server Lillian was doing her job just fine. They kept asking over and over every 30 seconds if my aunt wanted more water after she had already told the 1st server no and had to tell 4 different people no she didn't want any more water.Some server named nikki snatched the chopsticks out of my son's hand which I had given him without even asking me. Then when my hot food came I had to be told multiple times not to burn my own child. Not in a normal oh this is hot watch out kind of way but in a it seemed like the entire staff was trying to be my son's parent kind of way. I understand that the villages doesn't have very many children but my god they need to teach the staff how to handle having one aroun It's absolutely inappropriate to grab things from somebody's child unless he was causing immediate danger to their staff or something. My son was incredibly well behaved and didn't even leave any food on the floor. He actually knows how to use chopsticks. They also apparently have coloring sheets for children to use to keep busy. But they didn't give me one until the very end of our stay when I had to ask all the staff members if I could borrow a pen to keep my child busy. Because of the way they treated my child and me I did not have a good time and it actually ruined the whole evening. Combined with the bad food I will definitely...

I called phone number. I was never asked which location, but I went ahead and told them order is for the bichara location by 441 , not colony. Lady tells me “yes yes order.” I went ahead and ordered, and before hanging up I tell lady again for which location and she said yes. 1 minute later I got message on phone telling me is for colony location. So walked in and told them the situation, and re ordered food right there and then. Manager comes and tells me that I need to be the one to be careful next time as if blaming me for their mistake. I explained to her that I told lady on phone twice which location , and she still kept blaming me and justifying lady in the other location as if I was lying. Very unacceptable way to handle this situation. We all makes mistakes I didn’t make a big deal I just didn’t want the colony location to make food that was going to be wasted since it was supposed to be the Bichara location. Poor management. I could have stayed quiet and let them waste food and reorder at Bichara location but no. I go inside and try to address small situation and manager blames me and basically calls me a liar. Won’t be coming back not any of my coworkers or family...

Me and my husband decided to go here yesterday for lunch because last week when we made a quick stop for sushi we loved it. We were actually seated almost immediately which was nice and the only reason I'm giving it two stars, I'm a diabetic asked for one unsweetened tea and a sweat tea for my husband the server brought out 2 sweet teas we ordered our appetizer (coconut shrimp) we literally had to take the breading off because it was so burnt. We ordered our food took 30 minutes to come out. I got the steak and shrimp, my husband asked for lobster and shrimp. We were told they had no lobster left which was totally fine so he just went with chicken and shrimp. BAD BAD BAD IDEA the shrimp was so badly burnt that you couldn't even eat it! My steak was not seasoned at all had no flavor and was burnt as well and his chicken was the worst some of it was undercooked some of it over cooked. We both ended up with food poisoning late last night from it amd we will never go back, even though when we went the first time we loved the sushi! This place is amazing if you want to spend 60 dollars for...
