Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Lafayette

Great custard and treats. I wish there were more options for the concretes. I got the butter pecan concrete and it had a fair amount of pecans and butterscotch in it, although you can never have too many pecans. 😋 Andy's is setup to be mainly a drive thru business. There is no inside seating, only a couple of tables outside that are situated directly in the sun. There are two benches that are shaded. I don't live close by Andy's, so drive thru is not ideal for me, and I would much prefer having a cool environment to sit and eat my ice cream. Staying in line with the drive-thru theme there appears to be limited parking. Although the drive-thru setup is phenomenal I think there are only six to eight parking spaces available for walk up orders All that being said, service is friendly and extremely fast. Andy's has a great phone app with a reward system in place 4 frequent visitors. I would definitely recommend visiting if you like custard and ice cream treats. The only other place I know that serves custard is freddy's, which is in my opinion the better of the two. Andy's is delicious and really does hit the spot when you're looking for about 800 calories for a small custard with delicious toppings. I've been a couple times, but am really trying to only visit once a month at most.

The only complaint that I have is strictly about the ordering process. I don't have the best memory in the world when it comes to ordering off a menu that I've read for 1 minute or so. Andy's likes to have you order to a person with a touchpad, which would be fine if they were in front of the menu. But the person usually stands near the building. I tend to forget everything, but maybe that just me.

A great place for frozen custard! The taste of the menu options is amazing everytime we go. Service is always great and friendly. And even the pricing is really great!

My only complaint is the space. It's small and like someone else mentioned, there is really no space to sit and enjoy unfortunately, its drive thru and window service only. I wish they had more spaces for parking and more places to sit and enjoy their delicious options.

Overall, I highly recommend this place and I hope at some point they expand or build a new location for better parking and sitting options. Keep up the good work! We will be...
