Went for lunch on a Saturday. We all enjoyed our food and loved how customizable the food is. Party of 8 and our first time going.
Location: in a nice area of town. Traffic was busy but not unbearable. Parking lot felt crammed/limited; the shape of it made it awkward for larger vehicles/ 2 vehicles passing.
Atmosphere: clean, well lit. Open floor with tables & booths. They were able seat our party of 8 immediately. The tables were a little small but doable. Not loud. Tvs were mounted with easy viewing.
Service: friendly. I'm pretty sure we had someone training, and all was good. They checked with other staff to be sure requests could be fulfilled.
Food: fresh ground burger patties. burgers, salads, chicken sandwich, hot dog; sides/appetizers include fries, onion rings, fried green beans, fried okra, etc. We were told their onion rings are actually onion strings. The sides are a separate charge from your main entree order (ie the burgers don't automatically come with fries); however the size of the fries order is large enough to share (16 oz for $4 and we still didnt finish them between 2-3 people). They have different flavored fries (spicy, garlic, sweet potato, etc). You can build your own burger with a bunch of options for cheeses, veggies, sauces, patty blends, sauces, condiments, buns, etc.
Prices: felt affordable. Some of it depends on how much you customize it. For example, for 2 burgers (1 with regular patty, white bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, burbon bbq sauce, smoked gouda, with a fried egg & then another burger with brisket blend, pretzel bun, chitpole mayo, ketchup, grilled onions, pepper jack cheese) + 2 drinks + $4 fries to share came put to $35. We all were full afterwards and nearly everyone finished their plates with 2 people having leftovers.
Overall, we would return. The prices felt fair for the portions and how fresh the...
Read moreGo, just go. If you have not been and Don't know what to expect, I'll tell you. Awesome food, good service (friendly staff that will take your order and leave you alone), nice environment. Don't forget to ask for a stamp card after so many visits (6), you'll get a free burger. Can strongly recommend the garlic fries. This place is what I would consider expensive however I always get a full order of fries with a (standard) burger and a drink, after tip I expect to pay $25 dollars.
I've never been to any burgersmith's location and left disappointed, this location is no different. Burgersmith's is one of the few places I know of that I can go to any location and never have an overcooked a medium rare burger on any occasion.
Update: 9/21/2021 It's been 3 years since my last review and it surprises me to have to say today's visit was disappointing, burger was overcooked and the awesome garlic fries where unevenly season to an extreme (no seasoning on one side of the plate to much on the other, with a pile on the plate) and where a bit limp. I order a burger and a water with no ice to have the waiter forget to bring water till after the meal arrived 15 minutes later. When he noticed he did not confirm the order and instead brought back a water with ice in it and left without saying anything. Waiter never stopped by during the meal to check if things where satisfactory and I asked to pay so I could go. I was so looking forward to eating here, now I may have to find another option for when I'm in the area. At least the tap water met...
Read moreI wish I could give 3.5 stars to be honest, but I'll round up to four for them awesome sweet potato tots. Everything else was good, but they were great. I was planning on getting the Smith Burger until I noticed it had no cheese. Quickly I realized that the 50 cent difference between the 'Smith' and the regular hamburger, was basically their sauce, which I surprisingly found sucked. So I ordered the regular and added lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and Pepper Jack cheese, for I think $6.75. Fries are extra, I think (Someone else paid, Thanks!). Overall, good service, good food and decent prices for the area. Is there better burgers IMO, probably so. Max's down the road is the first place the comes to mind at this hour of the day, but anyway. Maybe I didn't live up to the full experience. I should have slammed me some of them $5 Abita Beers, loaded me up a Smith Burger with some poached egg and maybe an order of fried green tomatoes and crabmeat sliders! I guess it's not fair to judge a restaurant on just a hamburger, so I give it a four. (and the sweet...
