3rd time here and same horrible service checking out at the front in the store. They are never friendly or welcoming. It's been over a year since i been here. Was walking to check out and two young girls at each register. Once looked directly at me and walked off without a word, so i went to the next one that was not personable at all and speaks in a very demeaning way. The place is beautiful, but when you enter it's a bit confusing. I would never know where to go if i want to dine in so i never do. I went to see if i could find a good prepared food. I found beautiful beef stew meat to cook and some prepared chicken patties which had a good taste but way too much salt. Got a panini and as soon as the server started to set it down i involuntarily said, "oh no" seeing it was a bread that had very strong herbs in it (not mentioned on the menu). She asked if it was wrong and i said, "no, I can just tell i'm not going to like the bread" and she just walked away (most any other place in lafayette would have tried to rectify my distaste). then, since i had to pull the bread off and eat the rest with a fork, I got up to ask for an actual plate. Enjoyed my lunch there. The sunflower bread was a good enhancement to the fresh chicken salad. One of my group didn't care much for their bisque, but everyone else was pleased. Great staff and fun shopping for unique food and drink items. The dining area was decorated for the holiday, making the experience even more enjoyable. 🙂 🎄 Three tips: order first and pay before you go to the dining area.
