McDonald's — Restaurant in Lafayette

Just left from there. ( May 2, 2024) I would give them a negative 0.... 1) place an order 2) paying window.... I DID NOT KNOW SHE WAS ASKING ME IF I ORDERED 2 APPLE PIES...THE SCREEN SAYS $30.11..... GAVE HER $30.11 DRIVE TO THE 2 WINDOW.... I WAS ASK TO BACK UP AND GO TO THE PAYING WINDOW... SHE WAS YOUNG AND PREGNANT WITH ARTIFICIAL NAILS.... THEN SHE YELLED AT ME BY SAYING, " I WAS TALKING TO YOU" MY REPLY WAS, I THOUGHT YOU WAS TAKING AN ORDER. FIRST OF ALL SHE DIDN'T LOOK AT ME WHEN IN QUESTION.... SHE CALLED FOR A MANGER, SOMEONE SAID SHE ( MANAGER WAS IN THE KITCHEN) 1st Manger listen to WHAT I SAID. I TOLD MANGER THIS....I GAVE HER $30.11 BECAUSE THE SCREEN DISPLAY $30.11... SHE THOUGHT I HAVE 2 APPLE PIES....IF ITS BETTER TO GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY OF $30.11 THEN I CAN GIVE CORRECT CHANGE....NO ONE ANSWERED..... 2nd MANGER CAME, SHE WAS NOSY... PULL UP THE PICK UP WINDOW.. 2nd MANGER ACT LIKE SHES ALL THAT BECAUSE SHE TOLD ME, " YOU DID NOT PAY FOR YOUR FOOD!!!! FIRST OF ALL THE 1st MANGER GOT IT DONE... 2nd MANGER SAID, IM GONNA SEE WHATS GOING ON... 2nd MANGER WAS WEARING A WHITE/ CREAMISH BLOUSE... 1st MANGER WAS WEARING A BLACK SHIRT.... SO I NEVER KNEW MY TOTAL OF THE BILL. 2nd MANGER SAID THEY ME A DOLLAR EXTRA... IS IT MY FAULT NOT TO KNOW THE PRICE OF MY ORDER!!!!!!! I EVEN ASK WHATS THE TOTAL..... NO ONE CAN TELL THE CORRECT PRICE. BUT THE 2nd MANGER SAID BECAUSE THE GIRL ADDED 2 APPLE PIES TO MY ORDER THAT I NEVER WANTED... I USE TO LIKE THIS LOCATION BUT IT WILL BE MY LAST AS OF TODAY!!!!!!! THE WHOLE CREW OF THIS SHIFT LIKES TO PLAY AROUND WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS FOOD AND MONEY!!!!! MY FIRST REVIEW... I NEVER POST FOR THIS LOCATION UNTIL NOW BECAUSE IT HAD...

We saw the person in the window hand the car in front of us (who was yelling because they came through the line twice) a ice cream cone & them immediately say they didn't order that. Mind you I ordered ice cream not them The manager rudely stated she couldn't take it back just keep it. She told them to park at the 3rd window. When we approached the window she didn't greet us & immediately asked what our drinks were. She told us to park & we asked could we at least have our ice cream. She took a deep breath and Then parked us for a small order for over 20 mins. When we finally went into the building out of frustration the same MANAGER who parked us after going to the second window was in the lobby laughing and talking to a guy who had no food. Once she saw us she ran behind the counter & asked one of the girls where our order was and the girl replied where I told you it was up & you said they could wait. She offered us extra food for free but we declined because that wasn't what we wanted. Her solution was upsizing our french fries regardless to us declining. I expect more in a city that is often visited by tourists and a manager of business. She needs to be reprimanded and retrained. It was a black young lady who had...

This is the most efficient and friendly McDonald’s I have EVER been to! Everyone was smiling and extremely nice! I think it took a total of 5 minutes or less to order, pay and get my food. There were 4 cars in front of me and just about as soon as they pulled up to the window they immediately got their food and drove off. I’ve never ever seen a better run McDonald’s. I went twice this week and the first time I figured I just caught them on a good day because I’m not used to that kind of service at McDonald’s. I went again today and it was the same, if not even BETTER service! I’m absolutely impressed and everyone in that store is doing an excellent job! I hope they are getting holiday pay for working on Christmas Eve! They deserve it and more!
