New Orleans Original Daiquiris — Restaurant in Lafayette

Excellent service, wonderful staff, were able to make a temporarily off-menu favorite for us on our vacation-- TWICE. We literally went out of our way on our drive home to stop back at this location after being told by another they 'didn't feel like' mixing a gallon of the pineapple amaretto. The staff at this shop, however, when we first stopped in (we went twice; once on the way into town when we overnighted in Lafayette, and once on our way home from New Orleans) they were happy to mix us a large pineapple amaretto despite that it takes extra work being that it wasn't currently on any machine tap; and then when we came back through on Mardi Gras, not only did they have a gallon, were willing to make one if one hadn't been available, and were exceptionally kind. That gallon's gonna last me the next several months and I'm really grateful for the staff making the effort in the first place. I know not everyone bothers with such kindness and it really stood out to me. Good customer service...

Got the wrong drink and wasted my money and time. After the cashier asked me 3 different times what size and drink I wanted. I asked for a large strawberry daiquiri with an extra shot. She asked me my size again, if I wanted a strawberry margarita and what I wanted again. When I got home my drink tasted super strong and different. I took the top off and seen a yellow puree at the side and and strawberry on top. Instead of giving me my order they covered up a mistake knowing I couldn’t open my container until it was too late. I have visit this daiquiri shop twice and had another bad experience the first one was the young lady that was waiting on me kept scratching herself all over then ask me can I help are u serious 2 incident a guy was waiting on me I purchase a gallon the container was filthy he goes to the machine I quickly asked him for another gallon he goes oh yeah it is dirty so if I wouldn't have said anything I would've gotten a dirty gallon. So I think they need to fire and rehire a better scratch free clean and helpful workers want ever be back at...
