My experiences at NJOY has been absolutely great. I’ve dined in twice and got take out once and all three times were great. The Samosa Chaat is delicious and a good mix of savory and refreshing (also good portion for only $7). I’ve tried their Chicken Korma, butter chicken, chicken tiki masala, chicken vindaloo, and an eggplant curry dish and they were all great and really generous portions. Really good prices, especially compared to some of the other Indian resteraunt in Lafayette. You also get free naan with the meal and it’s some of the best naan I’ve had. The Mango Lassi is also super delicious and refreshing. The service is excellent; even when busy. The food comes out quickly and they are very helpful with answering any questions. They frequently came and checked on the table and refilled drinks. I didn’t get the name of the server tonight but he was excellent and even gave us complimentary dessert and made sure to ask about any allergies before (unsure of the name of the dish but it tasted like oranges and was very good). The atmosphere is also very good; very clean, not too loud, pretty decorations. I’m usually not a fan of dining in places because it can stress me out, but this is one of the few places in town that I know I can dine in and it be a relaxing experience. It’s also really affordable: last time I ordered take out we got two entrees with rice and naan and the samosa Chatt. It was around $45 and me and my partner were both very full and had lots of leftovers for lunch. Went with some family tonight and they all loved it. Overall, I really enjoy this place and it has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette.

10/10! I arrived here at about 5:30pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant had about 3 other tables filled, and people ordering and picking up take-out. I sat down and immediately one of the waiters asked me what I wanted to drink. I read the menu for a little and then decided to get the Chicken Tikka Masala as my entree with a medium spice level and a garlic naan. I started looking at the menu again and decided to get the Honey Chili cauliflower as an appetizer. My entree came before the appetizer but yall when I took a bite it was over with! The food was seasoned to perfection. My Tikka Masala was creamy. The cauliflower came and it tasted like chicken. So crispy, sweet, and spicy at the same time. For dessert I ordered the gulab jamun. It tasted like bread pudding but much softer and richer. The guys kept checking on me to see if I was okay throughout my dining. I thought the price of my food would be much more, but it was definitely good for the servings and amount of food that I got. This is the second time that I’ve visited this restaurant, and I will most definitely be back! Thanks NJoy!

This was my initial review.....

"I give very honest and constructed reviews and I say this with the utmost sadness. My first experience with this restaurant was amazing, so I recommended them to everyone. But that is to say this. My second experience was a total disaster. Although they were busy, service was horrible. Waiting for drink order was the first step. Then we put un appetizers and although they were delicious, that is were it ended. Then we waited 35 minutes for a waiter to even return for order. Still no drink refills. 30 minutes for food to come out and that is a great return. But wait it doesn't end. Only have the entree and no wait staff in sight. Waited for an additional 15 minutes and no prevail. Walked to counter after frustration and wanted to pay and leave. The solution they offered was to comp the bill and not finish the order. This I adamentally refused. I paid full price and still no offer to fix it and bring the remaining food. As this is me and my wife's weekly date night within our hectic schedules this is truly sadening and despicable. Great place and great food but if the customer doesnt matter it doesn't matter. Get it right. As an Indian cuisine condisore and have been to probably 20 plus Indian restaurants this was a top at the first experience. Get it right."

It comes with great resolve that this restsurant made a full return. Went tonight and they were 100%...

my partner and i debated trying out this place back and forth since they opened, never finding a good excuse to go but we tried it for the first time tonight for a lovely evening meal and we could not be happier with our experience! we started off with the samosa chaat which was so fresh and flavorful and carried a beautiful blend of texture heaven! the chicken tikka, cooked in a tandoor oven, came out to our table sizzling extremely loud and hot! we instantly knew it was about to be delicious and it did not disappoint with how juicy it was and the green sauce was a fantastic pairing for the dish! our servers brought us out garlic naan for us to try which was such a pleasant surprise, especially because i was eyeballing it on the menu! it was baked to a perfect texture and the garlic taste was just enough! we enjoyed the pastry sponge dessert in their honey syrup which was phenomenal and they brought us and those others on dessert a mixed fruit and nuts dessert! the staff was very pleasant, welcoming, and friendly and were able to provide us with recommendations and guidance for our first time while being attentive to the full dining room! all the food came out piping hot and fresh so overall an impressing and enjoyable experience!...
