In addition to being swarmed with teenagers? Early 20s? in their loud cars blocking people in to the stalls on a Friday night and having a literal fight almost erupt behind my car as we're parked, we waited 45+ minutes for our food after placing an app order only for it to ultimately end up being wrong, cold, having hair in our ice cream, and, the kicker is that the coupons they gave us for our long wait were over 6 months expired. The stars given are only as such because my tots were correct and the lady who ultimately gave us our food was kind.
We had gotten out after a 6 hr ER stay, ordered on the app at approx 1030PM, an hour and a half before they close. When we got there, they were busy with the aforementioned swarm so we gave them some grace. After 20ish minutes, it said JJ was heading out with our food. Never showed. We waited a few more minutes. 11pm came by. We pressed the button. Someone answered "drive thru only". We had seen multiple cars come and go from the stalls by now. We pressed twice more; they answered once more and then never acknowledged our third press. So I called the restaurant so I could get my food. We didn't want to leave the stall in case they WERE coming out soon.
They answered, and turns out or food had been siting on the counter the whole time. They said they'd remake it. Waited another 10. Finally 11:15 and we get our food. Lady was kind and apologetic, gave us coupons but we later saw they expired in December (it is July). We get home, boyfriend's burger is cold and mine is getting there. We live less than a mile away. Tots were ok. My ice cream was missing the add in I presumably paid extra for but isn't noticeable until you eat it (peanut butter).
I was over it at this point. It was past midnight so we stuck boyfriend's ice cream in the freezer to eat the next day as I guess the only thing they remade were maybe the tots and the ice cream. He opened it up the next day. Got a few bites in, then showed me a hair that was embedded deep in the ice cream that wasn't ours, which is honestly why I'm writing the review as unfortunately this Sonic failed on pretty much all counts. I've consistently had very long wait times here in the past, but nothing ever this bad, this wrong, or this gross. Hair, really? It was not worth the $32. Lesson learned. Wish I could get...

I work at a hospital not to far from this restaurant so my coworker and I use to order from here frequently until the last time I visited to order me and my coworkers dinner I had the police called on me because of them not giving me everything I paid for. I had to come back to this place 3 times. So yes I was very upset but never cursed I just told them they needed to get it together because everytime I had to come back to this place I'm clocking out to come here so I'm losing money because of their mistakes and it didn't make any sense. I waited at least another 15 minutes, the entirety of me waiting I could see my food was completed and had been sitting on the counter waiting to be brought out to me. I received my food cold, my drink wrong size with no line and cherries and I didn’t receive the sauces that came with the meal (not extra, marina that comes with mozz sticks).this is not my first bad experience, this is just the experience that was the last straw. I come to this sonic time and time again and after reading the reviews of the last 4 years, this specific location management clearly has no intentions of actually improving or holding their staff accountable.
