Toasted Baguette — Restaurant in Lafayette

Have been looking forward to this for so long! Guess all the good was gone by the time I got there. They don't have the cans anymore, said it will be a few weeks until then so they offered 2 size options on cups. After noticing the 1.50 surcharge I asked if they have different sizes for the cans she said they come in 16 oz and 22oz, so I asked if they're the same price and she said yes. So I asked why am I being charged an extra 1.50 then for a 20oz that's 2oz less than their normal size? They said that because they're now on door dash their prices have changed, which means that their entire drink menu is off. Tried to just take this loss, the drinks themselves were hit and miss. The Vietnamese coffee amazinggg. The jasmine match had a spinach after taste so very disappointed since it was nearly 8 dollars. If you're coming for the drinks, just go support a boba shop, at least you'll get to customize your drink for the same price. And get your name right on the label. They also were out of every cheesecake expect for the pandan. Mind you I came first thing for open with only one other table in there. If your menu is going to consist of 4 sandwiches and 3 cakes and over priced drinks, at least make sure your stuff is stocked up and your drinks bases arnt being reused from the night before. Also if you order coke its one of those tiny glass bottles for 3.50, so reccomend just bringing a fountain drink from a gas station for actual drinks. Super uncharged for what you're getting drink wise...

Excited to share our experience at Toasted Baguette! My friends and I have been impatiently waiting for the opening, so we can get together and try all different things. Here’s what we found. First of all, the drinks are all so yummy, but don’t forget to shake them up pretty good before you open the can as the sweetening agent here is condensed milk. If you need a good kick of energy in the morning and like a bold coffee flavor, Vietnamese coffee is the one for sure. My favorite drink was the Pandan Matcha (nice toasted coconut and matcha flavor😍). They have a great authentic thai tea as well. We recommend the Jasmine matcha drink if you’re looking for something refreshing and light. I also tried the lemongrass chicken Banh Mi. It’s very reasonably priced and totally filled me up with just one sandwich😳👌🏻 The bread was really fresh as well and I’m happy to report I could actually taste the lemongrass in there which I really enjoyed, and it wasn’t seeping with mayo either, which I appreciate. Great vibes, great staff, great drinks, and great food! Coffee wakes you up without it being too sugary/sweet. The flavor options keep it interesting as well. My favorite is the Pandan.
