Husky Boy Burgers — Restaurant in Laguna Beach

I like it. Fits right in the beach side, easy going, lazy day culture right on world famous Coast Highway. I'm a first time customer, saw this Old School looking burger joint reminds me of the greasy spoons where the best cooking you'll find will be in the 'hole in the wall ' places. I pulled right in and got out to place an order. Huge menu, cooked to order and being there overlooking the costal beach, I had to order a grilled Tuna Melt Sandwich. Pricing is decent, wait time was good and my order was packaged neat. clean and every bit professional as the big boys do it (Tommys-Rallys-Jacks, ect). Tuna was flavorful, had a nice edge, wasn't bland, not mayo mush, held together well & eats well- everything finely diced/ minced no chunks to pick out. Ok so here it is...Where is the 'Husky' in all this. Other than that, they are firing it up on all 8 cylinders. I think going with an Artisan type sandwich bread, oversized, wholesome. slight portion increase and basically styled to make you stretch that mouth wide open to get that first bite. Decent burger with an ocean view. I remarked to my friend how some people go their whole lives without this kind of view. There are many different desert options, which include some amazing shakes, and lots of flavors. I got the chocolate chip which just seems to be vanilla with chocolate shavings. It wasn't what I expected, but the shake was great quality and made me want to try another flavor! They have a kiosk system to order, which makes it so much easier to customize the burger to have it how you want it! The prices are a little high, but they really spoil you with toppings - the quality and the quantity! The bacon on my burger was super crispy and I thought it might just be the best bacon on a burger that I've ever had. The mountain of whipped cream on the shake was nice too. The husky burger itself is a burger with pastrami, so I may be trying that next. Maybe even a banana split! It had been yrs since that I had not stopped at this location. First of all let me say that I love the fact I can have a nice view while eating my burger :) For those who have been here know that parking isn't the greatest but it's well worth the struggle. Luckily when we arrived there was plenty parking. Right away we were able to order. The kids ordered just a cheeseburger; I on the other hand got a bacon avocado cheeseburger. I am not gonna lie the main reason why I came was because they have one of the best fried zucchinis in OC. Crispy and not one of them were soft or soggy. To the zucchini's I give a 10 star lol Burgers themselves have that backyard grilling style. It was the kids first time here and for my son to say it was the best burger ever is something else.
