Yummy Land — Restaurant in Laguna Hills

My young daughter and I recently visited for a bit of ice cream.

We had no idea what to expect, but who can go wrong with ice cream?

As we entered, we were greeted by the kindest staff. They were very excited about what they offered, and, as we would learn, rightly so.

My daughter and I considered our options. The gal helping us just began scooping samples for us. We tried saffro, pistachio, vanilla, but, ultimately, settled on chocolate and strawberry. Additionally, I got a bubble waffle!

Bubble waffle was a surprise. It was warm and soft. However, it wasn't nearly as surprising as the strawberry ice cream. Their ice cream does an amazing job of highlighting the flavor of strawberry. The strawberries appear to be fresh when folded into the ice cream. The ice cream isn't overly sweetened. It lets the flavor of the fruit come out.

The one bite of chocolate that my daughter allowed me to have was heaven. Its a dark chocolate flavor with small shavings of dark chocolate in the ice cream. Again, the ice cream wasn't over sweetened. Your tastebuds aren't overwhelmed by sugar.

My friend and I were in the area when we found the place and decided to try. The moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with a warm smile and introduced the items on the menu. I was really impressed with her hospitality and kindness.

We ordered: Small (2 scoops): vanilla and pistachio bubble waffle (2 scoops): saffron and strawberry

Although the selection of flavors was limited, the quality was outstanding. Creamy, non-artificial, and not overwhelmingly sweet - the ice creams were delightful!

The pistachio ice cream is a must-try. I can't wait to come back to try the fresh juices. I highly recommend this ice-cream shop!

*Update: I came back to try the faloodeh. It was so good! I've had faloodeh at a different place and it was really sweet for my liking. Here, they mixed it with lemon juice and cherry syrup, making it so tasty by itself and with ice cream. I learnt today that everything is made in store including the waffle cones.
