Avoid the salad bar chicken—spoiled meat found I am writing this to alert others about a serious food quality issue at the salad bar. On [Date of purchase], I picked up some grilled chicken to add to my salad. When I went to eat it, I was immediately concerned by the texture. It was mushy and soft, not firm like properly cooked chicken. This is a clear sign that the meat was not safe to eat, and it was a very off-putting and concerning experience. For a store that prides itself on quality, this is unacceptable and a major food safety hazard. I hope the store would address this issue seriously and immediately as it poses safety and health concerns for consumers that are expecting great quality and freshness from whole foods .I have filed a complaint with the health department. Please be cautious when selecting items from the salad bar, especially any meat or poultry.

I had an amazing experience at Whole Foods Market in Los Angeles! The store is clean, well-organized, and always stocked with fresh, high-quality products. From organic produce to freshly baked goods and specialty items, everything feels carefully curated. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful—they went out of their way to assist me in finding a few hard-to-locate items and even gave me great cooking tips! I especially appreciate the wide selection of vegan and gluten-free options, which makes healthy eating so much easier. The hot food bar and salad bar are also excellent—perfect for a quick, delicious lunch. Parking was convenient, and checkout was fast even during busy hours. Whole Foods LA truly lives up to its reputation. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch groceries and great service.

3.5/5 - Other than the wild and rude patrons in the parking lot driving like they own the joint, this spot was pretty mehh. I needed to return something from Amazon, and this place was an option. I came in on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised by their deals - BOGO 50% sushi, dollar oysters, $12 pizzas, $10 dozen roses, BOGO 50% charcuterie boards, and $10 tiramisu cakes. The store was clean, and the sushi looked pretty good. Pizza was out in the open, so it looked dry, and so did the rest of the hot food. Good selection of produce, meats, food, drinks, and products in general, although overpriced! A couple of tips: download the app or screenshot your Amazon Prime QR code beforehand, because I couldn’t get service inside the store. Had to step out a few times, which was a bit annoying.

I went to the hot fresh pizza isle around 4.20 on July 4th to place an order for 2 large cheese pizzas. This was for an event, where I signed up to bring pizzas. The pizza guy at the time said they don’t take any orders now. I asked what time they close. He said 5, which turned out to be a lie. I said I will wait until you bake, and I don’t need to pick up immediately. He said no and said if I need to order I should have ordered way before 4, which turned out to be another lie. So I said, well give me whatever the cheese pizza slices that were for grab n go, into a pizza box, while he was still having a fresh pizza dough on his hand. He said then I am going to charge you per slice. I gave up on the idea to get 2 large pizzas at this point, my goal was to get at least one pizza box and get out of this guy. While he was talking, there were several customers who came to place pizza orders, he turned them away saying they are closed and too late to place orders. They were amused, looked helpless and disgruntled about the whole situation. After that, I remained to be the only person to still get a box. He charged me $25 for one large pizza box, when it should be only $12 for one large topping pizza on that day. Regardless I went to the cashier and asked why am I getting charged $25 when on the screen at the pizza isle is saying it’s only $12. I opened the box and showed her my pizza. She was confused about it as well as the whole closing hrs thing, so she went to the pizza guy and asked about it. She then asked him to print the $12 label for me and the pizza guy refused to do so. Then, she went to the store manager and explained the whole situation, he was upset about him as well and then gave the whole pizza for free. I thanked him and got out of the store immediately to never see the pizza guy’s face again. Super frustrating.. the guy was unethical, arrogant, egocentric and super unprofessional…not sure if you want customers to pay top dollar to come to WF, and then to see you are hiring these employees who have annoying traits that turn off your regular customers.. now I am super demotivated to come to WF for anything, rightly because I don’t want to deal with this kind of bad arrogant...

I have been a faithful shopper for over 10 years. Shopping not only in Los Angeles, but also when I travel to Washington State. I moved to Laguna Nigel and have to say that this store is a terrible representation of what the brand is supposed to be. The employees are rude, apathetic and the music is so loud and annoying that I just want to run out of the store. Because it’s so close to where I live, I sometimes tell myself that maybe today it will be better. Today was the last straw!!! The deli employee who did not have a name tag was super rude to me. I usually drive to the one in Irvine and always have a great experience. Perhaps because those employees are students at UCI who appreciate having a job. I feel that young adults that live in south county are spoiled children that don’t appreciate work. Without customers there is no business. I have spoken a few times to the female manger at the Laguna Nigel store about my experience shopping there. She too has and I don’t care attitude. If a regional manager could step in, this...

I’m honestly disappointed with the service at the juice bar this morning. They’re supposed to open at 8:00 AM, and that should mean they’re actually ready to go at 8:00. Instead, the staff member (her name was Melanie) walked in a minute late at 8:01. I know one minute doesn’t sound like a big deal, but I was in a rush and it definitely mattered today.

To make things worse, she barely washed her hands—maybe for five seconds— and then started taking my order around 8:02. I asked her to ring up a salad and a cookie I got from the cookie bar. She couldn’t even find the cookie bar item in the system at first and asked if it had a code, which it doesn’t. It’s a simple thing to look up.

By the time she figured that out, I had already gone through self-checkout to pay for the cookie myself. And to top it off, she started making someone else’s tea before finishing my order, even though I was clearly there first. In the end, I ended up being about three minutes late because of this...
