Plumeria Cafe is truly a hidden gem and easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was something special. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and beautifully designed—inviting yet relaxed, with just the right balance of sophistication and comfort. You instantly feel at home, whether you’re there for a quick coffee or a full-on brunch with friends or family.
Let’s talk about the service—absolutely top notch. The staff at Plumeria are genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in the cafe and truly care about your experience. The staff greeted us with a smile, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and even offered some personalized recommendations that turned out to be spot on.
Now, on to the food—WOW. Every dish we ordered was a showstopper. You can taste the love and quality ingredients in every bite. The menu offers a creative mix of classics with a modern, fresh twist. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was plated with care and creativity.
What also sets Plumeria Cafe apart is the vibe—it’s just so thoughtfully curated. Whether you’re catching up with friends, having a peaceful solo breakfast, or even doing some work with a coffee in hand, it’s a perfect setting. The music, the lighting, the decor—every detail creates a space you actually want to spend time in.
You can tell the owners and team have poured their hearts into this place. Plumeria Cafe isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a whole experience. A place you’ll remember and want to return to again and again. I already can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu.

Read moreThe place is a little hard to find because it's kind of tucked inside the Laguna Design Center.
If you haven't been here before you place an order at the counter, they give you a number, and then a sever will bring your food out to the table.
Food delivery is super quick, like less than ten minutes. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, smiling, and personable.
The proprietors are Hawaiian, and this is evidenced on both the menu, a little bit in the decor, and the fact that all staff members are wearing hawaiian shirts.
The food is where things fell apart a little bit. I have the eggs benedict with the fried potatoes, and my dining companion had the breakfast sandwich with the fried potatoes. My fried potatoes are a little soft and not crispy like I had expected them to be. However, my companion said hers were crispy, and her sandwich was delicious.

The eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise sauce was good, but unfortunately, it was cold. This is really surprising as the food was brought out so quickly. I'm thinking that for them to give such quick service that everything is prepped and the sauce probably was allowed to get a little too cool.
All in all, it was a fun place, a good meal, even if it was a little cold. I would definitely go again, and I would certainly...

The food at Plumeria is what brings the crowd! The food variety on the menu makes it possible for anyone to find something to eat, including all dietary restrictions. The food is fresh, tasty, and large in quantity, making it a real bang for your buck.
The service is attentive and enhances the already open and friendly atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s a fantastic place to dine, including any little ones you bring.
The only negative about Plumeria is attempting to dine-in, especially on the weekends. Because the restaurant is popular, it is extremely difficult to find parking. After parking, the line to take orders (it is a walk-up & order restaurant, not seated-to-order) is often very long and extremely inefficient. There’s only one employee taking orders at one cash register, making the line move very slowly and pushing wait times to 30+ minutes during its...
