El Tapatio Tres Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Lake Charles

I regularly go to this restaurant, the food is superb and the staff is amazing. The salsa is addictive and their chips go perfectly with it. I usually get the molcajete, which costs about $20, and it feeds 3 adults with leftovers. This dish is, in my opinion, the best dish at this restaurant, it is VERY addictive and I crave it very often. I have also tried the carnitas, carne asada, and chimichangas. The servings for all these dishes is very generous and they are super delicious (especially the chimichangas). I am always recommending El Tapatio Tres to family and friends, and will continue to recommend it to anyone looking for delicious...

I laugh at places that claim to be Mexican restaurants and want to sell Mexican food when none of the food they serve here is Mexican they have people from Honduras trying to make food and know nothing about I asked for a simple burrito and they couldn't even make it which is the easiest thing to make then I asked for a kiss idea cuz they got the order wrong and they couldn't make that either I have no idea what these people are doing but it really pissed me off I should have taken a picture and posted it but I need to find me another place to eat, I'd rather eat at Taco Bell...

I had a late lunch there today. A pleasant young man welcomed me in. I knew little about the menu, so was thankful for my server. She was a mature lady that was good at what she did. She showed me the lunch menu, (that I had no idea they had on back of the menu). She made 3 suggestions when I asked her to, and she helped me to select what would serve my appetite when I told her what I would like. The food came shortly (still cooking on the sizzling plate). Presentation was great, reasonably priced and all was delicious. I highly recommend...
