Sat for 15 minutes waiting at the drive thru window on one coffee order. Two workers were randomly making drinks...occasionally. I notice two other workers that just walked through the prep area, but didn't do anything. I then asked for my money back. That took another 5 minutes to get. It was obvious that the cashier was new and didn't know what to do. The other drink preparing worker came and told me they were short staffed. Then someone who looked like management came over and gave me a receipt and a Starbucks card. Nothing was said. No apology. No explanation of why I received the card. I can understand being short- handed, but when two other workers are present and customers are waiting extremely long waits, the manager and the other worker should have jumped in and helped get the backup cleared. Oh, and if you enjoy confrontation, this is also a great place. When I asked the girl who was slamming everything to keep it down, she confronted me. I asked her to leave me alone, that they had bothered me enough, so she left. Then she came back again! And she was the manager! I finally had to leave and I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE!
They just lost a customer for life.
Go to the Starbucks on Nelson...the staff here is so much more professional. I don't know why I never went there in the first place....
