KFC — Restaurant in Lake City

I've never posted a bad review in my life. Last night was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at any chain restaurant, period. Every single table was dirty, as in had been used, but not cleaned by staff at all. There was food on the floor and every table. There were no lids for drinks. 4 employees in uniform were sitting at said tables looking at their phones when my mother and I arrived. I assumed they were off work, waiting for a ride maybe, but eventually they all went back behind the counter, without washing their hands and began preparing our food. The cashier was obviously irritated by my 70 year old mother's indecision. Instead of offering suggestions or allowing us a moment to decide, she chose a $5 fill up for her without even asking for her approval. The entire kitchen was in party mode. Dancing, laughing loudly, smacking each other with the rags they were wiping the food from the counter onto the floor with. The floor behind the counter was completely soaked, definitely a hazzard for the staff. I've NEVER seen anything more unprofessional in a chain restaurant or even a mom and pop for that matter. Decent location I do think it's kind of cool that they apparently hire extremely special needs individuals I think that's important to build that confidence and sense of purpose but it was extremely frustrating and quite awkward to be honest I just left there order my food the kid that took my order was great he had a great little personality and here comes storming from around the kitchen area this gigantic red flaming Queen very loud very obnoxious he was more focused on trying to flirt and get into the other kids pants that was trying to take my order I just thought that was extremely inappropriate so as I'm eating the big red flaming Queen was still being Extremely Loud and obnoxious where it almost sound like they were trying to slaughter a cow with a lawn mower in the kitchen area definitely was highly inappropriate so of course I'm done eating and I proceed to go to the restroom to wash my hands another employee pops out of one of the Stalls with three different masks sunglasses a face shield a hat and gloves seems a little odd that someone would go to that extreme at this point and the so-called pandemic just a very odd experience at...

My son loves KFC/ their crispy fried chicken. This location was very clean and the staff here was very friendly. We had to wait for our meal as the cashier stated 10 mins until fresh chicken would be ready. My son and I did not mind waiting for yummy fresh fried chicken. We enjoyed our food in their dining area. The dining area was very clean and bright. For our drinks, they serve Pepsi products, which you can help yourself to. Parking at this location can be a little tricky if there is a long line in the drive thru. Otherwise there is plenty of parking. I am not sure if KFC still does salad bar, as there was an area that looked like they could. However, it was empty at this visit. I did not make it into the restrooms, but my son did, and he stated it was not the cleanest. They were very busy with driving thru orders and pick ups at the time we visited. The location is great, easy to get in and out of. CVS is right next door to this location, so close my son and I walked over to get a few odd items.
