i had a rather frustrating encounter at this Pizza hut. I wanted to order the Lrg 2 topping pizza for 7.99 and some other lrg pizzas as well. We got to the restaurant and i let the person taking our order (Mauricio) know that i wanted the 7.99 deal, and he let me know that was an online deal only. Okay - no problem - my bad - ill place the order online and pick it up- no biggy. I go to order and the site is telling me that there is "No pizza hut near that zip code available for carry out". I tried repeatedly to do this- to no avail. I go back in and i double check with a delivery driver who just returned to the store, that i have the correct Zip code, which i do- and i ask him if hes heard of anything like this. He tells me no- but that the manager is right there and to ask him. (I didnt know that Mauricio was the manager). So i walk up to the counter and show him (my phone) that it is not letting me order through the site - but i still want that deal- its not my fault if there site is faulty. He at first tells me no. but then searches his POS (point of sale/register) and then says he has the coupon...ugh. So i get my family back out of the car and we head back in to order just like the beginning. I place my order- MIND YOU - im pregnant - ive ordered from Pizza Hut many times, i know my order to the T. I always get the same thing. So i ask for stuffed crust- Mauricio tries to tell me that he cannot do it with the coupon....WHAT?!! I tell him, what do you mean? If its extra, just charge me- i know im able to get stuffed crust! Its even an option when you order online (haha). So he continues punching in our order, and then i ask to have the crust flavor be the garlic mix. Mauricio looks at me as if i just insulted him or something... He asked "garlic crust??" I go "yes??" Im thinking...you guys (pizza hut) spent all this money on advertising the different flavors of crust you have (Pretzel, cheddar etc), in commercials, on posters, etc, and the "manager" is telling me that he doesn't know what im talking about??? wow. Anyways he says he can add some garlic to the crust - ok - cool- thats what i asked to begin with. So my husband continues his and our sons order- they both want a Lrg pizza, but with different toppings. So we do the 2 for 21.99 deal. My son wants 4 toppings (i believe the deal is only 3 toppings) - Mauricio again tries to say he cannot have anymore than 3 toppings... My husband tells him- you can charge us extra for the toppings, we would like the toppings we want please. And Mauricio says "sometimes my register doesnt charge for extra toppings so.." So?? So?? And? Maybe the register is the thing you need to fix- thats not our fault. Just charge us for the pineapple and move on haha. Then my husband orders his and he gets one of the "pre selected" pizzas off the menu - again, has more than the "3 toppings" but before Mauricio could say anything- my husband says "just charge me for the extra toppings". So we are waiting for our total, and i know this isn't anyone's fault, but apparently you cant input 2 coupons on the same order? So we have repeat our order again in order to have 2 separate orders. This was annoying but whatever, at least we were moving on. My husband is apologizing to Mauricio for being a "problem" (which i disagree with) but he kept saying that he was sorry for all this and how long this was taking. And the great Mauricio - said nothing. That is not good customer service "manager" Mauricio. So after we paid, i was over it. I asked my husband to pick the pizzas up once they were ready. So my husband is standing inside and one of the workers from the back asks if he's been helped yet- and he tells her yes, that hes just waiting- theres still quite a bit of time. She asked for the name on the order. He tells her. She goes "Just one pizza right?" and he goes "no, theres 3 total pizzas on 2 separate orders" and she goes...(seriously...no joke) she goes...."Oh- i dont think they know that"... WHAT!?! WHAT?! Ive maxed the "character limit" but im so grateful for the pizza...
Read moreI placed an order and arrived to the pick up window when I encountered an employee by the name of Mona. When I asked her about my breadsticks for my order she stated that I didn't order any breadsticks I pulled up and got out of my vehicle to go inside because clearly on my confirmation email it says I ordered breadsticks. She went too the cashier machine printed out a paper and said there's no breadsticks and when I told her that my receipt has breadsticks that's what I ordered she said we'll I'm off the clock meanwhile she's yelling at me and not letting the current on the clock employees take care of a professional matter. She became abusive and unprofessional when I explained to her she was getting argumentative disrespectful and ultimately putting my unborn baby at risk she said I don't care if you're pregnant or not she continued on yelling at me and her co workers that were present who ultimately handle my breadsticks professionally. She is an abusive co worker and employee to the public. She is a danger and a ticking time bomb you know those employees you see fighting on tv and claim Victim this is that girl. I can not believe the amount of unprofessionalism I encountered with her. I'm not sure if she was trying too show off to her friends who are in the video. I Ordered on the online app. My husband noticed on the app at 9:40pm that the app stated my order was delivered at 9:11pm and that’s when we decided to call Pizza Hut. Btw very poor poor customer service. They stated it was delivered when we were suppose to have a contact less delivery. The driver claimed they handed our order to a young male adult which was not the case. Then we spoke to Santiago which is suppose to be the manager who btw was very rude. He kept insisting that it was delivered. Pretty much calling us a liar. I felt like this could have been easily resolved but instead Santiago decided to be rude. He made the call not to refund us our money and suggested to call the customer service number. My husband drove over there which I do not think they expected him to show up since they were not answering their phone. The driver who claimed to have delivered our order apologized because she did not deliver to us. It was an incorrect address and admitted that her manager yelled at her. Doesn’t make sense to yell at someone if he took her word and pretty much denied us our order or refund. Santiago didn’t want to refund my husband the full amount not even the tip that we had included on top of that.
