Raised Donuts & Bagels — Restaurant in Lake Elsinore

After killing it at the gym and burning off all those calories from the week before, my daughter and I decided to go grab a light snack…. Or so we thought! Nestled between 10,000 lbs of pool chlorine and a pipes and knives store which is most likely a Russian mob front, is this fine establishment of empty calories!

Inside you’ll find every standard donut you could imagine and then some. There are croissants galore and boba flavors that would rival even baskin robbins in the sheer number of options! We went from searching for a light snack to staring at those shelves of sweet treats wide eyed and drool forming at our lips like a starving street dog sitting outside a butchers shop window!

We honed in on our options and left that shop hands full of bags like a group of women leaving bath and body works during their $5.50 a bottle sale! Of all the delightful treats we picked I must say there were two that truly stood out! Their croissant filled with the most savory ham and cheese was the size of a new born baby and tasted even better! And the pistachio crumb donut…. Well a single bite could quite possibly cure cancer!

So ladies and gentlemen, do yourself a flavor and spend your childrens college savings at raised donuts and bagels!!

Raised donuts is usually a good place to get bagels and croissants. I was surprised today when I walked on and saw someone I had never seen there before working behind the counter and she's not wearing a mask while boxing up donuts for a customer. I was hoping to get served by the person who usually helps me(I dont know her name but I think she may be the owner as she's always very helpful even when she's under pressure).

When it was my turn to order and the person I never seen before ( i don't know her name either but she had a tattoo on her left forearm) asked me what I wanted i asked for 2 egg and cheese bagels. On the menu they have ham, egg and cheese bagels but I've ordered just egg and cheese bagels in the past with no problem. I mean how hard is it to hold the ham? She told me they didn't have any so I walked away. As I'm walking out the door I heard her say they did have them. But I was already fed up with her. . If your serving food you need to wear a mask. We are in ca where everyone is required to wear a mask.

Needless to say they lost me as a customer. I had to drive 9 miles away to a donut shop in Perris to get my croissants but it was worth it. They wear masks, provide habd sanitizer and have much larger croissants. So I guess I should say thank you to raised donuts. If it wasn't for your maskless employee I would have never tried the...

LUCKILY I LOVETHE OWNER!!! my Boss asked that I pick up 2 dozen doghnuts for our company & of course I always get a receipt so that I can get reimbursed. Upon entering the store JULIA was obviously having a busy stressful day as it showed in her customer service & on her face her attitude was awful. After purchasing the donuts my total was & $19 and some change .I gave the cashier "Julia " $17 cash & the balance on my card .I also let her know that I will need to purchase a croissant separately.She rang me up for the croissant and handed me a reciept for it which I assumed was the receipt for the 2 dozen.I asked her ,"May I please have the other receipt for my donuts?" She was irritated a& said," No you didn't tell me you needed one.." I said," I am entitled to proof of purchase on anything I buy she acted as though it was my fault.I saw the register has a prit tape on it & at minimum she could have gave me at least the cash portion or told me to wait so that she could perhaps TRY and figure out how to issue me my receipts but she flat out said sorry I cant and walked away ignoring me.The owner 2 days later was very sweet and apologetic and issued my receipt in 30 seconds.Because of the owner and the great doughnuts I will continue to buy from here as it's not the Owners fault that Julia is not the...
