I have nsny friends who have gone here including family members. And outside of O'Hara's there's nothing on this side of the lake. I went in to haveva drink and shoot a little pool. I went up to the bar to order and stood there while the bartender made no attempt to serve me. Mind you I was a bartender for the better part of 20 years. All over OC and was opening staff for several 3-4 star restaurants. I went to the pool room and no cocktail server ever came. I went back to the bar to order, now I'm not ordering a call drink, I'll get a beer and I'm a great tipper. I watched the bartender, they don't know what busy is. I'm thinking about applying for a job. And I'm 67 years old. I'd make that place rock. They don't have a clue and if this is the best of the hiring pool, not only is Ringside in trouble but so is our country. I never did...
Read moreAtmosphere is great as are the drinks. I got the Watermelon Rita and it tasted like a watermelon jolly rancher. So glad we were able to get in when we did- within 20 minutes of being there the bar was so packed it was practically standing room only and we just about had people in our laps. Service was ok- it was too busy for me to judge accurately but our waitress was definitely hustling the whole time. I appreciate that they have a lot of fans with misters on the patio to help keep it cool. There's TVs everywhere inside and on the patio and even in the restroom so no matter where you are you will have a solid view of the TVs and the speakers were just loud enough to hear the announcer for the fights. Read moreSo my sis and I just went in there to get some food to go now that the place is finally open and I don't suggest going to this place for food. They were having 2 dollar tacos, we got 6 tacos and the fish and chips and it cost 30 dollars, they got the tacos wrong and the fish and chips came with 16 French fries, not to mention it took 30 mins to get our food, very disappointed. Don't see this place staying open if they are counting on their food to keep customers coming...
