Oh, Angelo's Burger Lake Forest, where have you been all my life? My taste buds are still doing a happy dance after devouring the legendary Triple Cheeseburger. I mean, seriously, this burger is a game-changer! It's so good that I didn't even have time to take a picture—I was too busy scarfing it down like a ravenous burger monster. No regrets, though! Now, a word of advice: unless you're planning to feed a small army or you've got a stomach the size of a black hole, opt for the regular-sized burger. The large one is a beast! I made the mistake of ordering it once and ended up feeling like I needed a forklift to carry me out of there. Lesson learned the hard way, folks.

Oh, the glorious breakfast options! They're so good that they keep serving them until 2:00 PM. I admire their dedication to breakfast lovers. My girlfriend couldn't stop raving about her juicy and flavorful burger. It was like a symphony of taste exploding in her mouth with each bite. Aside from the amazing food, the staff here is top-notch. They're friendly, attentive, and know their burgers like the back of their hand. Plus, the place itself is clean and looks pretty snazzy. We got the Pastrami Burger, the Avocado Burger, and Fried Zucchini. Each food item was delivered to our table quickly as it was completed. Normally, I would say this is something a restaurant should never do, but this is fast food. It works, and shows efficiency. Nothing arrived too cold because it had been sitting out waiting for another item. The burgers were hot, fresh, and didn't skimp on toppings. The Fried Zucchini was tender, and the quantity was more than enough for two. I'll be back another day to try their breakfast and Mexican offerings. For today's burgers however, I feel they are a solid 4 stars. They are by no means gourmet, but they taste good and aren't overly greasy. I'd absolutely get one again.

The service is what brings Angelo's Burgers to a solid 5 stars. They have a comparatively large staff, but nobody was standing around doing nothing. Tables were very quickly bussed and cleaned. Not one table had leftover crumbs or condiment spills. As we finished each food item, someone stopped by to clear the empty plate or basket, and more than once asked if we needed anything. The restrooms were also quite clean, particularly for a restaurant. With the exception of the dress code, I've only seen certain high-end steakhouses match the service quality....

Only one visit so far. Place is clean, looks well managed, great dynamic menus with a HUGE variety of foods at reasonable prices. Staff is still learning details but doing really well. Burger and fries taste/quality are kinda average so far but will try a few more times. I got a double meat burger but didn't feel like I was consuming high quality beef (think Fuddruckers RIP), more like In-and-Out, and I was really hoping for something new and better in this neighborhood. Cashier told us the expensive fries were a huge serving but we got a normalish bag. OK, maybe that was a simple error. The eager, pleasant, and otherwise very efficient cashier also missed telling us that our purchase of burgers and fries was exactly the same cost as a combo of the same items with a drink. I just didn't get the combo because I thought the price was enough and didn't want to pay too much extra for a drink, but would gladly have got the drink for free. OK, simple oversight, learning experience for everyone.

I will have no problem going back here to sample many more of their offerings. But I really hope they can distinguish themselves in quality, otherwise they're just another fast food joint. Maybe that's exactly what...
