-10 Went back during day shift...Handed pre-made food AGAIN...room temperature! Won't be going there again! This is now status quo..AWFUL!
On March 17, 2022, 8:54pm Lake Forest, on Lake Forest near Home Depot, store #3546. Placed order/drive thru…male who took order..curt/rude; didn’t listen to my specifics. Car in front of me had just placed order but picked up order immediately… FOOD WAS PRE-MADE..SITTING! Same for me.Soon as I got to window order ready! WAS NOT FRESH/HOT! ROOM TEMPERATURE! When the man at window asked for payment, I asked him to extend the card reader so he didn’t have to handle my credit card because I’m high risk/immune suppressed; he said it didn’t extend that far…As I was speaking to him saying that’s really something you should ask your employer to provide…he slammed the window shut in my face. He took my card outside of my site & took longer than “swiping” the card should have. He handed me the bag of food…no “thank you”, no confirmation of what he was handing me. I told him he was very rude as he again slammed the service window in my face. During this interaction I could hear someone in the back, a woman’s voice and it became clear to me these were two employees who felt they had better things to do than serve fresh hot food and provide polite service. I parked close to Home Depot to eat…the food, as I stated, it was room temperature and stale…not freshly made. I drove back to the drive-thru and spoke to same guy; said this isn’t fresh or hot and placed bag of food on the window counter with 1 bite taken from it and asked for a refund…explained I wanted a refund because I didn’t trust them making my food! He said he needed my card…and again, he took my card out of my site to a different card processor for eat-in customer…not sure and WOULD NOT GIVE ME A RECEIPT SHOWING MY REFUND! I asked to speak to the manager about service and his rudeness. The guy said he was the assistant manager and the manager wasn’t there …I said you should be fired for how you treat your customers and the terrible food you’re serving! He was a neatly groomed dark haired ~25-30 yr old, Hispanic male with plucked eyebrows(mentioned for identification reasons only) with a name tag the displayed “SL”…the name on the original receipt said different…a female name, “MY”. As I was departing the window, this male employee poked his head out the service window and was shouting, “WHOA-WHO” and LAUGHINGLY at me as he was POUNDING and DRUMMING THE COUNTER TOP TO THE DRIVE THRULOUDLY and yelled out “A**HOLE” at me! WHAT THE HECK!! I could NOT BELIEVE what I had just experienced! I WAS SO UPSET I WAS IN TEARS! And, it was at that point…I thought “I’ll bet he messed with my food too! That’s why he’s laughing at me!” All I wanted was a small meal to tide me over till I got home as I hadn’t got around to eating that entire day! The food in the past at this location was usually pretty good and I eat there when I go to the Home Depot sometimes. Never treated rude nor had any food or trust issues before this night! I tried the corporate phone number several times…but they are closed during regular weekday business hours…so no answer! I also tried the customer service number and left a message at the end of the survey…but no one called me back after waiting 12 days to hear from someone and several attempts again. I tried the store phone number on the receipt several times…it just rings and rings but no answer…no one will answer! Jack-in-the-Box had SERIOUS problems in past…at one time, several people got extremely ill on burgers, a couple little kids died …I didn’t go there for years fearing for my own child’s safety. There have been sketchy occurrences of late with another location on Plano Trabuco Rd in RSM…none of which were resolved nor any changes made w/ employees. It’s too bad this company only looks at their bottom line & ignores complaints & requests to speak to representatives. VERY upset with Jack-In-The-Box! HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE ! THUG behavior & harassment of customers!...
Read moreMICHEL MICHEL MICHEL the worst customer service you can find from that individual.... I mobile ordered 5 orders of 2 tacos (10 altogether) and 3 Jumbo Jacks. I thought about ordering a shake once I arrived and figured I go inside to order. WRONG MOVE. Immediately met with an irritated greeting as he tries to look busy. He couldn't meet anyone with a pleasant look except the team member that told him she was ready to be back from break. Now, I did ask him to make a mix of chocolate and strawberry in one shake, so I understand that could be upsetting, but the level at which he kept sighing and rolling his eyes was ridiculous. It felt as though any chance he had to be unpleasant, he did not hold back. And it wasn't just me. Two other individuals were met with a scowl. I noticed that MICHEL was the only one slamming bags, uttering nonsense to himself, and constantly sighing and rolling their eyes. Anyone else on shift looked like they were doing good, though the tacos were very wet with grease. A young man eventually came up and was very friendly about assisting me, I wish MICHEL hadn't left such a bad impression otherwise I could've remembered someone else's name. One thing I couldn't let go was just how much he was willing to push me out the door by asking constantly (and never listening because he still got it wrong) what I ordered and if I needed anything else...dude, I'm sitting at the table, do I look like I'm leaving? I guess if you go inside, be ready to cuss...
Read moreAll right guys where the hell do I begin. I walk into the establishment and the first thing that catches my eye are two trash cans blocking a exit door! For some odd reason I can't post pictures I did take pictures of it if the owners want to see a VIA mail. And why the heck do you put two big trash cans by the exit door perhaps they don't know local laws. if an exit door's broken lock renders it inoperable or locked in a way that hinders escape, it is illegal and a violation of building and fire codes because exit doors must always be easily openable from the inside during business hours. This ensures rapid evacuation during emergencies, so a broken lock that prevents free egress is a dangerous and illegal situation. Other than that you have employees that clearly can see there is no action in the dining area no customers however there are four or three cars in the drive-thru. So why the heck is your so-called soda vending machine only dispensing three or four drinks and why on Earth is there no cleanliness standards literally tabletops crumbs smudges raps of straws under tables have a gum floor has like drips of water all over it it's just a bad example. They got to get that door fixed because if I walk in it's the same thing I'm...
