Quick overview: Brio Brio is a delightful confusion of Japanese, French, and American café cuisine. What seems like an odd combination of cultures at first proves to blend perfectly in unexpected ways. This cute bakery has a warm, welcoming interior and a delightful outdoor seating patio, making it a perfect place for your morning cup of coffee, midday brunch, or an afternoon snack. The abundance of outlets around the store also make it a wonderful place to study. And, in true French fashion, wine is available if you're looking for a more sophisticated outing.
In depth: I first noticed Brio Brio yesterday and figured it would be a nice spot to finish reading the book I've been working on. I was gladly correct about that assumption. The building was clean, the staff was wonderful, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the music provided a nice ambiance without being too loud and distracting. Whenever I go to a new place I like to order specialties and sample the menu, so I ordered the avocado toast, a matcha scone, and, without anything popping out on the coffee menu, a regular hot latte. I could hardly have been more pleased. I received the scone first, and in retrospect I may have asked them to warm it up (it was served from the pastry case) but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It was a unique pastry, truly epitomizing the fusion of Japanese and French, that delivered on both texture and taste. I then received the latte, which was exactly what you'd expect from a decent caffe latte. Not too bitter, not burnt, not too weak or milky, and after adding just one packet of sugar the whole drink was perfectly rounded out and balanced. When the avocado toast came out, I was a tad disappointed that there was only one piece, given it cost $7, but I was hardly cheated. You may pay a similar price for two slices of avocado toast many other places, but Brio Brio is the first time I've ordered an avocado toast that didn't make me feel like we were in the midst of a terrible avocado famine; like they merely rubbed the avocado on the bread as if they were spreading butter. Really, there was enough avocado, micro greens, radish, and vinaigrette to easily split between two pieces of bread. However, upon finishing the well plated toast, I felt perfectly satisfied, and a little grateful I didn't consume any extra carbs, especially since I had the scone as well. Overall, I was incredibly pleased with Brio Brio and I'm sure I'll be returning once I find a new...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Brio Brio Bakery and Cafe for breakfast, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a memorable morning.
One of the highlights of my visit was the BNHI Mi Chicken Sandwich I ordered. It was a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The juicy chicken, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a delectable sauce, was sandwiched between a soft and crusty bun. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness that left me craving more.
To complement my meal, I decided to try their Hot Vanilla Latte. Let me tell you, it was a game-changer! The velvety smoothness of the vanilla combined with the perfect amount of steamed milk created a heavenly beverage that warmed both my hands and my soul. It was the ideal companion to my breakfast and added an extra touch of indulgence to the overall experience.

Read moreI have been coming to this cafe for years. It is a little expensive, but the bread and coffee are delicious. But I miss the old, experienced, and friendly people. These days, the young people are rude and make a lot of mistakes while serving. They even don't realize what they did wrong. I've been having a series of unpleasant experiences several times lately. Also today, just right before, I had an unpleasant experience. It was around 4pm or later. I ordered an iced latte without ice, as shown in the picture. And I was given a ticket number 16 for waiting. In few minutes, then I saw that my drink was ready and I was walking over to the service table to pick it up. There were no other orders in front of me, and the iced latte without ice was so easy to identify because the top of the cup was empty. However, the server took my drink and put ice in it to serve an iced latte to the customer with ticket number 26. SHE INTERCEPTED MY DRINK. I was so shocked and I just held the my ticket and waited for my drink again near service table. But the server who had taken my drink rudly asked me to go to another table to wait. So I explained what she did, but she didn't know what she had done wrong. And I checked the order list with her through the P.O.S screen, but I could see that my drink number 16 was supposed to come out first, but it was skipped and went to customer number 26. (That's what she did. She intercepted my drink.) According to the P.O.S screen, customer number 26 was even behind me as 3rd guest far. (Unless the manager is abnormal person, it should be able to check this in the past order sequence and details.) It was a very, very unpleasant experience.
I asked the server her name and she said "Sienna" (not sure if that's spelled correctly). I would like her to apologize to me if she gets the chance.
I miss the older servers of the past who were always bright...
