The Escape Bus — Attraction in Lake Forest

The Escape Bus came to our house a couple weeks ago as a surprise for my wife as part of our celebration for our 2nd anniversary. (We had done an Escape room as one our first dates, so this was a nice throwback). It was a terrific experience, from the beginning to the end where Jonathon and Tyler made a custom "we escaped" sign with memories and jokes related to our marriage. The scenario was well prepared and executed, even with a rambunctious child and other family members just "having fun" (and not really helping my wife and I out with the puzzles lol). I was initially curious as to how enough puzzles and activities would be packed into a small bus, but we were impressed (and of course we did not finish on time :)) John and Tyler were helpful in providing hints via walktie talkies. We were able to do two games between all of our family members. No sharing hints! Definitely would recommend both as a mobile entertainment alternative for small parties, as well as team-building events for companies! I booked the Escape Bus for my son’s birthday and was really looking forward to it. I even paid extra to rent a space that could accommodate the bus and matched the theme of the party. Everything was set, and then the afternoon before the event, Tyler reached out to say the bus had broken down. He did offer an alternative, a pirate-themed treasure chest, but it didn’t fit our theme or seem nearly as exciting. You’d think there would be a backup plan or a second bus in case something like this happened. At first, it sounded like it might get fixed, but then the morning of the party, I got another message canceling completely. Could not recommend this company more!! Absolutely excellent experience! We had an issue come up and I really thought it was going to ruin our party. I called Jonathan and he went out of his way to help us out and ensure everything was fixed. They showed up earlier than expected and were so flexible and easy to work with during the event. Danny was the one who came and he was excellent with the kids. I would like to think our kids are well behaved, but it was a birthday party with 16 ten year olds. I’m sure they were a bit nuts.
