I came here to introduce my friend who has never had pho to its glory and honestly was sadly disappointed. We looked for a place open a bit later and close to where we were- when we showed up the place was completely empty on a Saturday evening which should have been our first warning. We tried to order butterfly shrimp but they were out and insisted…like REALLY insisted on the wrapped shrimp. I was disappointed to find they pretty much only had pho with steak and meatball. I prefer the combos with tendons and tripe and everything in between. We got both about the same time and the shrimp felt like they were fried for way too long in the rubbery sense. The beef in the pho was thick and chewy and when our server set down the condiments she had a panic moment, almost taking then back, and said ‘oh nevermind I just thought there was bugs on there’ and then left. My favourite pho around, Pholicious offers a beautifully clear and delicious broth filled with generous portions of meats, vegetables, and noodles. I almost always order the special, which comes with multiple meat types for their multiple textures and enough soup and contents to take home for another filling meal- and at regular size too, not to mention their mindblowi large offering.

Their other soups are also great, and Vietnamese coffee rather decent as well, a staple of every visit regardless of the hour. The banh mi options are nothing mind-blowing but sized and taste well enough to be a delightful snack. I came here when it was Pho Tùng afew yrs ago, and thought it was good enough to be close by rather have to go to Westminster. Well, came back the second time and realized the name changed. We dined in any way, the Pho was not as good as with Tùng. So we came back with family members in town and wanted to give another chance. This time was the worst. Didn't smell pho flavor at all when we walked in, and even worse not smelling it even the bowl was in front each of us and an inch away. Taste was so average if not terrible.
