Just bought two coffee today before 9:00 am. I decided to walk in instead of driving through. There’s only one person sitting with his laptop inside.
I was helped at the cashier by a guy who appeared confused or just pissed about something. I initially said hot but asked me again anyway. I paid with my card and did not give any tip this time because I thought the guy is some kind of pissed about something or at me. Somehow it looks like he told one of the balding guy at the drive-through that I didn’t leave a tip and they all looked back at me as if I am a criminal.
I’ve waited a good 10 minutes for my order. Two other customers walked in and ordered something. They got theirs before I did so I asked the woman politely behind the counter. She said it’s coming and so I’ve waited. The balding guy at the drive through counter for no apparent reason approached me and told me in a high tone that I have to wait in line because there’s a line. I was the only one inside, there’s only few cars at the drive through. I’m not sure why he got mad at me all of a sudden. Was it that I didn’t give a tip? All I asked was how much longer because I left my car engine running and my air on because I have a dog inside.
This TIP issue is getting out of hand. I normally leave cash tips even though I know it they don’t deserve it because I have encountered similar situations in the past where you don’t get the same services as those customers that are tippers.
Starbucks employees are paid a descent salary than those cashiers who work at the supermarket who scanned & bags your groceries. Cashiers at supermarkets are the one that deserve tips not these Starbucks idiots who monitored customers who gave them tips and who doesn’t.
For those three starbucks employees I have encountered today, MAY KARMA...
Read moreIm only giving this location a two star because I'm sure their baristas can make wonderful drinks. The reason I won't be going back to this particular location is because of Lisa, the worker I spoke to on the phone today. I called because my order was wrong but that occurred at a different starbucks location but at this point I happened to be near this location and I wanted to call in advance to make sure it was alright if I could switch it out. Initially Lisa was not very friendly, but as a person who has done reception/answering phone calls I know it's not always the easiest so I didn't let her tone affect me. I tried explaining my situation and asking if it was alight if I come to this location because it's closer. She never gives me an exact answering she just says try explaining your situation to whomever you talk to. The reason I called was because I didn't want to be a hassle and I wanted to make sure it was alright and wouldn't be a huge problem for them. I then ask her if it's alright if I go to the drive thru since I really just want to get it and go ( I want you to know no where in our conversation did I say I need my order now and make it seem like I was their first priority I just really didn't want to go inside again) she then laughs and in the most condescending tone says well our drive thru line is busy and you're going to have to wait like everyone else. I never said I wasn't willing to wait or that I think I should get my drink first. Like its starbucks I don't need it, but I want what I ordered and Im understanding if I have to wait. At this point being on the phone with Lisa Im over it and her whole attitude. i did not go to this location and wont be going. They need to teach Lisa better manners and...
Read moreI woke up early this morning than usual and called this place at exactly 4:44 am and ordered a box traveler. I spoke with a girl name Cat. She said the box will be ready in 15 minutes. I went to pick it up at 5:05, 20 minutes after. There were four staffs, no one inside the store or the drive thru area; I was the only customer there. To my dismay, one of the staff I asked doesn't know about my order. So she asked around. This one girl came out and said she was very sorry that she forgot. Her name is Cat. Then came another bombshell about 7 minutes later. They don't have a lid for the box and she asked me if she can give it to me on 12 individual cups. Really? I said no because I have to walk from the parking lot to the fifth floor at my work. She offered me a refund. I told her to call the other Starbucks by the 5 freeway (Rockfield and Lake Forest) instead so I can just pick it up there. She left and a few minutes later she came out with the lid. It looks like a lid from another container. She said she called the Starbucks in Rockfield and it was their suggestion to use this lid. I am not sure where she got it from but I can only hope it was clean and not from any bathroom chemicals. She then offered me the refund again in which I accepted. The least she can do since I am already 30 minutes late from my plan to be at work earlier than normal.
I stopped going to this place a year ago because of bad staffs. I'm guessing there is a leadership problem here since its been over a year, with new staffs, their customer service remains less...
